is that something u ask to do..or something that just kinda happens? Its like asking someone to kiss them..I mean if u have to ask..is that Chemistry even there? I agree. That stuff should just flow. Read the body language - it's usually there. I wear my feelings on my sleeve so guys have no problem reading me .. welcome or stay back. |

I don't mind holding hands on the first date, or even kissing, you can tell it's ok just by looking in their eyes, if the glow isn't there then I wouldn't do it.. agree.. besides..if you change your mind...u can always pull away to scratch a itch... and the kiss...turn to the cheek...or say hey look at that and distract.... been there done that.... but holding someones hand...usually know if u want to or not... no biggy... |

Well I look at it this way, let's say there is someone on this site that you have been talking to for a long time, then you're not really strangers, even though you haven't in person, then you finally start talking on the phone, eventually see eachother on web cam, and after all of that you already know there is a definite attraction there, then you finally meet for the first time.. by then a person should know it's alright to hold hands, and even kiss, because everything has been building up to that point... jmo... |

Oh yes, the price of oil, stock markets, global warming. Makes it hard to f**k, when you think about stuff like that.... You shouldn't worry about it, there's nothing you can do... |

If you ask me to hold my hand or ask to kiss me I'm gonna say no. It's a feeling that's either there or isn't and will happen naturally without there being a need for asking.

This is true, although there was a girl I met once that did try to force herself on me, and she knew I wasn't interested in her romantically, only as a friend, what surprised me was her doing that knowing I only liked her as a friend.. now that was an experience... |

Anyway if there's not enough chemistry to 'go with the flow' of the easy natural stuff then WTH would I want to be goin on a first meet with them. I only meet a guy I totally 'feel it' with.

I believe a person should ask the person they want to hold hands with for the first time. I think its a show of healthy respect for a persons boundaries. Maybe I'm wrong...what do you think? no offense but asking IMO is kinda highschoolish.i dunno,i'd just be embarrassed to ask "do you wanna hold hands?".it doesn't sound right coming from grown people |
