Topic: How long? | |

How long, if ever, should one wait, before throwing out the memories of a "bad love"?
Of course it depends on the person/people, and how much they are in love... But what's your personal opinion/experience? Lol... Looking at a box full of lost love, kinda got me down. FroznChild |

Throw it away! Why would you want to revisit something bad in your past?

its depends how bad it went ...guess its individual for each person..and some never move on

Personally...love is a rarity, so I would of tossed it the day it occured.

Its a personal thing, everyone is different. My friends husband died when he was 25 and 15 years later she was finally ready.
Now, bad love, that can take some time too, and only when you finally forgive them can a person can go on to the next relationsh*t!! |

Eh, i usually forget about all the bad stuff pretty fast. Damn friends like to bring it back up. So the question should be how long until you bury your friends.

Throw it away! Why would you want to revisit something bad in your past? Agree - don't look back - will just re-kindle those feelings |

I think that a lot of it, is how long the relationship may have been, or how deeply each person loved...
Relationship was 7 years... in this case. It's always easier to move on as quickly as possible, but there also always seems to be the curiosity of revisiting, and trying to figure what went wrong. Not to re-capture the last love, but so as not to make the same mistakes with the next... Lol... but I think that mistakes are sometimes the best parts of the relationships. Everything in moderation. |

I never had the problem. All of my sh*t was thrown out the door behind me lol.

Sometimes we just like to pick at our wounds, Benjamin. There is something bittersweet about revisiting the past.

I am the exact opposite of a pack rat, so I get rid of memorabilia as soon as it's over, hell I'll even pack it and send w/them on their merry way

memories will always be there in your head..
no reason to keep the hard copies of them |

I was in same relationship almost 20 yrs. I still find some of his **** sometimes. It is all depending on you yourself as an individual. When you are really ready to let go you will.

FroznChild ...I need to learn to start the deleting process earlier....but I'm so use to torturing my self looking through memorabilia, not sure if its answers I'm lookin for but I do believe so, I've grown into being a person whom hates to repeat mistakes...its such a waste of valuable time... ~wicked~ |

I tend to look at everything as a learning experience. Bad relationships included.

Everyone/every relationship could be different...Mine was easy, because of what she did.
The only memories I have kept are the pictures for my daughters sake they are in a box in her closet... |
