As a single woman for over 10 years, I understand this situation and the frustration completely. At first they think it's so awesome, such a little spit fire, I am.... But a spit fire they seem to want to douse. Are they scared?? I don't have the answer.... I was tolds I was like a wild mare that needed taming... run away fast, little pony I bucked kicked squealed & ran lol he's still standing there with a halter dangling in his hand!

I have had the same problems. Guys are attracted to my independence.....at first. But it doesnt take long for that to change.

Do you think that is what happened? the other thing that puzzles me is that the attack on me went on for a good long time; yet the instant he attacked Angelface, the post was deleted. Not that she deserved it either; but I didn't think I did. It seems that the mechanisms that exist to protect people from attack only work for some.
