so lucky you are to be needed so much, boxturtle!! don't get me wrong, everyone wants to be needed, and i don't mind waking up for a fire call since i usually am not aware that i'm awake until i'm halfway to the firehouse. I just get ever so slightly perturbed when someone calls me because our bio professor got her grade wrong or I'm desperately needed to translate something someone's boyfriend said. can't it wait til noon or so? |

I'm living on 4 hours of sleep.
It seems like every night, no matter what time i go to bed, 4 hours later i get a fire call or someone calls me with some "crisis." GUH! we'll see how long this lasts. In any case, GOOD MORNING EVERYONE! -pokey |

okay, so he's an EMT and he shows up and the firefighters are there outside and they're all laughing. so he goes inside and there's a chick in a catwoman mask handcuffed to the bed and a guy in a batman mask and cape out COLD on the floor. Apparently, he jumped up to jump onto her and hit the ceiling fan and knocked himself out. All she could do is scream for help and I guess the neighbors called 911. He split his forehead open and all that. Personally, I'd have laid there till he woke up... 
i've been on a couple things sorta like that. my personal favorite being a guy who was cheating on his live in girlfriend. she cuffed him to the bed and just left. |

he was only in there about a half hour total. he hit the emergency call button after about 5 minutes.
