You're right, to many people, it's not important. However, seeing as most of us have access to some of the better educational systems in the world, yet we don't take advantage of it... just seems like a waste. (And no, by "best in the world" I don't mean just America.)

heh, maybe I just get it because my girlfriend is an English major. She wants to be an English professor. (I even catch myself correcting her a lot.)

I get that typos happen, and usually they're fairly obvious, but when people don't bother to learn, it bothers me.

I recently heard someone refer to Valentine's day as "Singles Awareness Day"

that hates misspelling, poor grammar, use of the wrong word, (there, their, they're) etc.

I mean, I get that it's the internet and it's informal, but it really puts me off when I see so many mistakes.

jersey is the BEST state in the country. best music scene and there's NO pride like jersey pride.
