These sites are people hiding behind a computer and playing games.

Not too many ppl are on here for anything serious as far as I can see. But ya have to think some of them are for real about what they say.

Welcome Kooki, most people here are real.

Come and play in the forums and meet them, there is a very nice crowd here in the 50 and over forum (exclude me here), and they are all eager to meet new people and make new friends.

And it all starts with friendship, doesn't it?

I'm real,I don't play games.The only games I play are board games.

I agree some people here play games and try to pretend to be something they aren't, but some people play that game out at the bars, or church, or or or...also. It's just the same no matter what. You have to weed out, and also maybe get burned a few times to find out what the truth is. There are some wonderful people out there and on Mingles. Here, it's just easier to meet people from all over the world, and get to know them.

I am real and care a lot for people.

YES, many of us care. Internet is like all the rest of life, you get from it, what you put into it. If people are misleading, they get mislead. I have been here for quite awhile. Met a few people I didn't care, so I don't talk to them. Met way more NICE folks, so many I can't keep up with all of them. We have a thread called topicless, here in the 50's. Come join us, sometime. You just might meet some people that are REAL. Might make some new friends, to boot.

I think the majority of the people on her are "real" or "genuine" but there are also the "players" who are out to use people. You have to be really careful and go really slow with anyone you talk to, there certainly are scammers around.

I have been on this site 3 years this month and have made some fabulous friends, have been played by a few not so nice people, but for the most part, I like this place and come here to talk to my friends daily.

You should go out into the forums and post and meet some of the regulars, make some friends that way. Welcome.

I think that there are a lot of real people out there, but i have also met a few of the players--you would think at our age they would stop the games. But i have made a few pretty good friends on this site. I'm real anyway--what you see is what you get--i don't talk where you have to read between the lines--or wonder if i mean something other than the way it's written--the way i say or write something is exaactly the way i mean it. Can't get more real than that.

Hi. I would say most of the people here are real. I am also. I play around on some of the games, but it's all in fun and most don't take it seriously. Friendships are forged on here and they are real friendships. These people care for you and try to take care of each other. If they spot a player or a scammer, watch out! They will bring them to task! I've seen it happen. The moderators are doing a wonderful job of keeping this site clean and friendly. Join the forums, post a lot and get to know us, let us get to know you. You might just like it here!

Real is as real does

I am very real, living breathing, pumping blood through my veins! This is a great place to meet wonderful people and perhaps make a real friend or two (of either sex - talking friends here) I do wish everyone would remember the differences in on line 'dating' and real dating. Not so many of us are in a postion to relocate....the internet is a big place! So make friends, play as in frolic, not as in mind games, find support, comfort and maybe a new love. Just take advantage of what this amazing site has to offer. Just be REAL yourself!

I would love to meet the people behind the computers...not many in my area. I have met one person on here. I don't see a lot of local people in the forums..
