FYI - have not spoken to this guy in years - but recently learned of the back door compliments. 
You guys are SO fun that it makes me want to fabricate, just to see how you'd react to more!  Am I allowed to type that on this national forum? (all previous examples were 100% true)
Common! Am I the only one that has ever received mixed signals from soldierfromamerica? (That part is not true). How come no one else is admitting to dealing with mixed signals?.... A few more to keep you entertained.... Tries advising you not to hang out with another guy (whose a decent long term friend) for reasons of "standards of friendship should be higher" when his friends are even worse. Asks you to help him with something, but when you do refuses your help. Famous one: Says, "I can't talk to you anymore" because my (new, lame) girlfriend gave me an ultimatum. Says new relationship "is not serious" but then goes & spends more than $300 dollars to buy her a mut-dog when times are tight. I'm sure I'll think of some more. Please feel free to share your mixed signals too. Oh child, I read your profile, and you are the twentysomething kind of young person I hope my granddaughters grow up to be. You have some options here with this relationship! You can say,"I don't deserve to be treated this way, and I have the power to just walk away! You can continue as you are. You can reach for the support of your friends and enjoy all the wonderful things they will mirror to you about who you are. |

I would think when you are over fifty you have heard it all at least once.

I just remembered you live in Europe. My husband will never, ever, ever go any place again if he has to fly over the ocean. He even asked his daughter not to put his ashes anywhere near water.

I really, really would like to see some others' art work. Mine, currently in the beginning stages is about distant mountains, and as I am developing it, by brush strokes moving down the wood surface, I have swished some color hoping to see where to move next. I had hoped it would be more beautiful scenery, but instead, it looks like the Green Hornet flashing by on a bicycle, helmet on, head bent low.
I can't seem to move my pictures from my profile over to these postings. You'd have to see it there. |

 Everybody!
I have been hit and miss on the forums. My mother-in-law passed away yesterday. It's been awhile since anyone I know has died. She has wonderful kids, wonderful family. She had cancer and has been living at one of her daughters' house. They all are great people. My own parents are gone, my sisters live 8 hours away, so these people are special. You guys are SPECIAL, too.

Rick what is Linda talking about? I.m confused. Every night when I come back to my office to use the computer, I bring an empty bowl, a bag of pecans and a nut cracker, I am so straight-laced when I started to type what I was doing, I got quite embarrassed!!!!
