Good evening all - part 3

how is everyone I have a statement, or perhaps it is a summation. I joined mingle2 not for a relationship, but just to spend some time with people. It's winter. I live in Wisconsin. In the summer I have a zillion things to do. In winter I get "cabin fever". I have taken to this forum (most recent posts) like a duck to water. It is meeting my current needs! Am I crazy

So for example, Rod Parsley preaches that there can be no doubt in your faith that god will heal you and someone isn't healed what are the consequences of this belief. Or, as per Benny Hinn, your faith was related to how much money you give so if you are not healed than your faith is not strong enough. There are consequences for intentions and beliefs. I'm sorry! The heart of man is wicked and deceitful and his tongue is full of poison. We hate the natural condition of man. But man's nature is imperfect and fallen. someday we shall all change in a twinkling of an eye and be restored. At least some of us. Ok this is going to sound mean but no meaner than what is above, unless one can't see the manipulation in the words. How perfect is it to set man up to mistrust his fellow man as well as himself with the repeated assertions that he is deceitful and wicked and should hate his own natural condition. Set up the conditions where by you can control a man that has no self worth but that which you allow him in some limited and controlled way. Yet at the very same time the charismatic leader type sees the value in using the man with no self worth to do his bidding. Now we have created the church leader and the followers. Wow the rulers of the world must have seen the value of manipulation in the bible immediately. The value in using peoples fears against them to gain power and treasure, and those that will be so frozen in their fears, staunch in their prejudices who will be the work force to gain that power and treasure. How brilliant that the same book can empower some and enslave others. And of course avoid too much education for the masses, it should be seen as evil for obvious reasons, take care not to give women too much power, especially, you know how they are.. grin So now you have more that will be the slaves and the few that will rule the world. Absolutely brilliant, add Intelligent design and creationism to solve the boredom factor and write a few zillion books from Nostradamus to Left behind series and you have access to the idle and depressed minds of the new age.. wow, it just gets bigger and bigger until all minds are as obedient as all others. Wow, I'm a believer! You know I once thought that love was more or less a given thing, seems the more I gave the less I got. Love was out to get me that the way it seemed, disappointment haunted every dream. then I saw Krimsa, now I am a believer. I started reading this thread from its beginning. Being analytical in my thought processes, I have been going up and down, in and out, agreeing and not agreeing. When I was still working as an inpatient psychatric RN, I listened carefully to what everyone had to say, supporting them in their belief system (some superiors called me wishy washy), and when all was said and done, I believed it all as long as it did not hurt me or someone else! |

Tonite will be the record breaker subarctic temps for the year in my area. I'm slated to run a preloaded load of stainless steel to chicago. Gonna be a cold one. Metal breaks at -26 to -40 below zero. Radiators freeze up. Fuel filters gel. Gotta take it easy and take breaks. Like my yellow n black jaw? My husband runs containers back and forth from Eau Claire to the Cities. I don't envy you, but I do wish you warmth and safety!

I have to get ready to take Annie, my cat to the vet for her annual checkup. It is so cold here in Wisconsin that I have to warm the car up for her. I haveone of these self starters for cars. I got it a few years ago for warming up my car when I got off the night shift at the hospital. Have I thought it was worth the money? Yesssssssss!

Lady friend of mine, does FANTASTIC porcelin dolls. Has lots of molds, works miracles with a sewing machine, takes orders. Did a doll for a wedding, dress was done with scraps fron the orig. & looked like the bride. Dr. wife paid big bucks for that one. Witch from Wizard of Ozz, an indian princess, has several just for display, when she retires from nursing, figures to work it more. I was going to apologize to you for boring topic, but thanks, instead, for input.
