So what age group women do you want to meet? You go where single women hang out..... the mall, the gym, the cute little coffee shops...supermarket. It depends what your interests are.... sports stores, hardware/tools....is where guys hang out. Yeah, I can hold a conversation, but fail at starting one without creeping them out. Knowing if they are single or not is the biggest thing too. I have a very monotone voice, and when I try to change it, it sounds like I am uptight. Do you sing? Go get singing lessons...seriously...learn to create pitch and range in your voice, develop expression.... that will carry into your day to day speaking voice, and also give you confidence when chatting with people. Sing? Um, lol. Is that the only way? My voice is not good for sining. I don't like to sing along to my favorite songs because they have the better singing voice, lol. There must be an alternative. |

Everywhere are single women. For zip code 93531, ages 20-25, within 50 miles, there are 66 women on this site. Now I understand they are all not active, but its not a bad place to start. My zip code is 93550. There are only 2 active girls and they don't respond. A club is the only place I can think of where you can start talking to a girl and almost knowing for sure they are single. Elsewhere you look like a dumbass because they are taken. |

So I know that nightclubs are a good way to find a single girl, but where else is a good place? I mean, $25+ cover charges and a long drive is a lot of money for one night. There are no nightclubs in Palmdale, CA, so it is tough.
I know how to hold a good conversation, just lacking of knowledge where to go. |

you have to consider that about 65 % of the profiles you see are not active anymore (they gave up, lost the password or just created and didnt follow up )or they never existed (especially in paid sites)or is somebody trying to scam you... the other 35 % would be 20% females of which only 8% could be a match but they already are communicating with somebody better looking ( aparently ) than you... so... NO, is not that you are doing something wrong, is just the odds are against us... then again, there still be hope... I am also on plentyoffish.com, which is apparently the most popular free dating site. Lol, good point. I am not giving up though. |

Dude, your 22, and been single since 18 - and have not gotten a phone number? Brush off the boring, go do something spontaneous and out of your mold... live some life, take a chance... if you do not ask, you will not get an answer... geez... don't waste your youth trying to find a relationship - go have fun ROFLMAO!! I am having fun. I try to do as many things as possible. I do hang out with. I do want a relationship, but I still wouldn't mind having fun, just to hang out. You obviously did not read the post close enough. :-) |

just as with real life...it takes time. just sit back and enjoy the ride and it will happen This November it will be 4 years. I have not known anyone else that it has been this long. This also means I have not even recieved a girls number since that time. But yeah, I keep trying. |

I have been single since November 2005. I am a nice person, not picky, try new things and activities out, I always am up for spontanious things like hanging out, or a trip somewhere. I do not lie in a relationship, and am very open. I am not clingy, and would never pressure someone into something they did not want to do. I have never done drugs, do not smoke, but I do socially drink. I have a steady full time job, and live with a roommate. I also have my own car. I am clean, and I keep my house clean. When I message the people on these dating sites, I am not writing a boring or typical, neither am I vulgar. I can hold a good conversation in public too without it dying.
I have tried nightclubs, kickbacks, dating websites, yet nothing ever seems to get started. What am I doing wrong? |
