Any time an engagement ends, it is going to be painful, and an emotional roller coaster. However, it is much better to end things before the wedding ceremony, than after.

While it may not always seem like it, I am sure you have been a light in the life of your family and friends. You may need to take more from your friends and family than you are giving right now, but there will be plenty of time to give back more than you take.

Take the time you need to put your life back together, and to figure out what you want to do next. It is better to deal with the emotions now than to try to bury them so that you can appear to quickly move on with your life.

Good Luck and God Bless!

I build my own (with occasional trouble shooting from a friend).

We usually buy AMD CPUs because the faster BUS speeds on AMD compatible MOBOs tends to be much faster. Usually we find that the comparable benchmark performance for 3D gaming gives AMD a price advantage over Intel.

However, for most of the years I have been building computers, AMD CPUs have run much hotter, requiring the purchase of additional fans.

Generally speaking if you want to know what Ron Paul thinks about a particular issue, look at the Constitution. If the federal government is not specifically given power over that issue, then the power belongs to the individual States and to the people.

If that last sentence sounds familiar it is because I paraphrased a section of the US Constitution.

And BTW directed to everyone in general...

I've read up on him quite a bit and i don't see a single policy that degrades women's rights in any way as well as his views on homosexuality. He was very careful to mention that his views are HIS views and his policies are fair giving people the right to choose. If i am mistaken please show me where because i haven't found it...

Ok Drivin, I am not sure we are reading the same things. Give me a link to use current views on homosexuality and women's rights, please, so I can have a look at what you are seeing.

I can't respond on all issues as I am just now trying to understand all the different idea from all sides and it's amazing how differently so many many groups think. It's dizzying and often very confusing when in terms I can't grasp. So please, send me links...

http://www.ronpaul.com/on-the-issues/abortion/

Ron Paul recalling his personal observation of a late-term abortion performed by one of his instructors during his residency, Ron Paul stated, “It was pretty dramatic for me to see a two-and-a-half-pound baby taken out crying and breathing and put in a bucket.”

“The first thing we have to do is get the federal government out of it. We don’t need a federal abortion police."

At the same time, Ron Paul believes that the ninth and tenth amendments to the U.S. Constitution do not grant the federal government any authority to legalize or ban abortion.

Instead, it is up to the individual states to prohibit abortion.

From what little I have seen, there seems to be just a few people here that are always negative and putting people down in discussions. As often happens in face to face interactions, the people putting others down tend to get noticed the most, while those who are polite fade into the background noise.

The best advice I can give to those who always notice the jerks, and never see the kind, compassionate people around them, is to look past the loud attention grabbing jerks and see the wonderful people that you normally do not notice.

Manic Depressives tend to easily become addicted.

Many use alcohol and/or drugs to self medicate.

Generally in Michigan a person who is manic depressive can not be forced to receive treatment until after they are convicted of a crime.

I wish you the best of luck, because you are in a very difficult situation.

Personally I would prefer to move in together after marriage.

I really do not see the grand advantage of living together before marriage, although I do recognize that it is very important to some people.

I have heard claims that we have a genetic preference for certain body types. I am not sure if that is true, but even if it is true, it is not the complete answer.

People are a product of their culture to some extent. Our culture promotes the super thin big breasted women, and so that is one of the things most of us like. There are also sub cultures within the overall culture that promotes a preference for other body types. For example blond hair is the Hollywood preference, and my anti Hollywood tendencies is probably part of the reason why I prefer dark or red hair.

LDRs can be brutal. Even if he was telling the truth, do you really want to date someone you only get to see a few days a year?

I tried dating someone who was going to be living out of the country for a couple years. She is a really amazing person, but it was difficult to maintain the right level of communication for months on end. It is not impossible to make it work, but it is much more difficult when you are so far apart.

People who believe in global warming probably also bought the thousand dollar generators for the year 1999-2000 crisis.

About recycling...I used to recycle but since our glorious leaders made it a law in our state to recycle or get fined they lost my support.Seattle and Washington leads the country in recycling because people wanted to do the right thing. They rewarded us by going through our garbage looking for recyclables and writing us a ticket if they find any. That sounds alot like Communism and thanks to the liberals of Seattle I throw everything in the garbage now.My long years of recycling starting in 1985 came to a end because of idiotic laws like this and I have no intention of recycling anything ever again.

To all you tree hugging, hemp wearing, stinky, pimple faced pot smokers...God gave us pointed teeth for a reason. To eat meat.Nothing I like more then sitting down after a hard days work and eating a huge steak with a side of fries.

Every time I fart I know it pisses Al gore off so I try to do it often!

Hats off to you good sir. I admire anyone who stands up to tyranny.

The only problem with your theory is that the facts don't support it.

Global temperatures do not fluctuate with the increase in green house gasses.

The scientists who claim there is man made global warming have consistently been wrong with their predictions.

The only climate model that has accurately predicted global temperatures is that of Solar Activity.

31,000 independent scientists have signed a petition stating that they do not think man is causing global warming.

If greenhouse gasses are the problem then why are 5 of the 10 hottest years in the 1930's, including the hottest year on record?

If we are in the midst of massive global warming, then why are temperatures consistently colder than during the medieval warming period?

If mankind is causing the melting of the polar ice caps on Earth, then why are the polar ice caps on Mars melting at the same time?

If you want me to support laws that will dramatically reduce freedom in the US and cause billions to suffer from starvation because we aren't allowed to grow enough food, then I need proof. Not just conjecture, or a small percentage chance, but specific proof. I need to see predictions that actually happen. The effects of taking drastic action to reduce greenhouse gasses are so destructive that I need to know with certainty that the harm is going to be offset by a greater good. Until then I am going to choose freedom and food for the poor.

Since I was not at the republican convention I do not know what was said by the rank and file.

One of the reasons that Bristol's pregnancy was announced is that the media had been running stories for days claiming that trig was really the child of Bristol Palin. Also it was obvious that the media were going to discover Bristol's pregnancy, since it was not a secret in Alaska. It is better to announce something like that, than have the media claim that Sarah was trying to keep it a secret.

Also, Bristol went through the regular sex ed classes in Alaska, not just abstinence only programs. Although the media was eager to spread lies and claim that she only had abstinence education and that Sarah Palin opposed sex ed.

Sarah Palin did not stick her family into the public eye any more than Barack Obama did, yet the media went into a frenzied attack against her family and every minor little aspect of their life.

The sad thing is that the media reported more lies about the Palin family in the first two weeks of her campaign than they reported about Obama's family in his entire two year campaign.

Personally I would rather that both families be left out of politics, but apparently I am a tiny minority in that opinion.

Uh, those are the vegans. Vegetarians are mostly about diet.

That's why I keep to natural fibers collected and manufactured by third world orphans, none of that industrial mess.

Sir, do you know what a vegan is? Do you know what we are talking about at all? Its all about diet for vegans. They are even more restrictive than vegetarians as far as nutrition.

I am a vegetarian, I don't eat meat, don't like eggs and don't drink milk because I grew up on a farm (with a deadly milk allergy).

On top of that, Vegans wouldn't wear leather boots or belts or anything that had to do with the death of any animal. Sometimes to the point of avoiding canned food because certain manufacturers use(d) lard for carbon.

Vego here... nothing with feathers, fur of fins... or with eyes....why?

Cause I don't require it.... as a 'footprint' contributor? nope, although amazingly when one lives INSTINCTUALLY they 'plug' back into the natural world, and are much more aware of their place in it, and as a result become much more proficient in reducing their consumption... of everything.

I don't have any particular objection to living a vegan lifestyle, but I don't think that it is specifically instinctive. I have noticed that I not only have teeth designed to chew up plants, but I also have teeth that are designed to tear off a chunk of meat.

It seems to me that even for the folks who simply choose to deny all of the scientific evidence that has been presented on this thread as it relates directly to the detrimental effect man has had on the environment and the current ecological crises, at the very least you can take responsibility for your self and your own personal impact.

I am still waiting for evidence of man made global warming. As far as my ability to effect solar output, and its impact on global temperatures, I don't think there is much I can do in my daily life.

Rather than wasting my time and money worrying about some mythological global warming, I would much rather deal with real pollution concerns like filling in flood planes along rivers, and mercury pollution from coal fired power plants.

I don't care if people want to make personal lifestyle choices that they think will reduce their carbon footprint, but I am very concerned about the massive socialist power grab that the global warming people are trying to force upon the American people.

Im not sure whos chart you are referring to but this was mine.

When you fill in flood plains with new development, build cities below the water line, then fail to maintain the flood walls, you are going to have an increase in weather related disasters. But that doesn't have anything to do with Global Warming.

In fact many of the resources that are going towards the Global Warming myth would be better used to prevent such foolish ecological mistakes as mentioned above.

When did I say that the republican party embraced Ron Paul. The pro Iraq war republicans mocked Ron Paul's opposition to the Iraq war. To me that just sounds like typical politics.

I did complain about the republican's attempts to keep Ron Paul out of the debates. Ron Paul wanted to make major reforms to both the republican party and the US government. It is not exactly shocking that those who supported the current powers that be would oppose a real reformer.

This reminds me of 1992 when the UAW claimed to oppose NAFTA, but then endorsed a democrat presidential candidate who supports NAFTA, but refused to endorse a republican candidate who opposed NAFTA.
