One difference is that in racing, you root for the person himself. I have been a Stewart fan since he first came on the scene. With football, baseball and the other team sports, you root for the uniform, no matter who is wearing it. He's not doing to bad so far. Winning the busch race today I'm sure gives him confidence going into tomorrows race |

Racing wasn't the same after Dale Sr died but I still watched. I do prefer the older cars. When a race car looked like a race car. You could tell a for from a chevy or an olds from a pontiac. Not anymore

The human condition is pretty much the same for men and women. A broken heart hurts. Having someone you have invested yourself in leave, sucks the air out of you. True love is exhilarating. We may say or show it differently, but on the inside we all carry our scars with us. Very true! If people on this site was honest to begin with some of us would not get hurt! If people in general were honest there would less heart ache. |

It's like any sport. Once you understand it you're hooked. Pick a driver and follow him through the season. but how do I pick a driver? How he looks in his cute outfit? If I like his car? If you have time tomorrow watch the pre reace show on FOX and listen to what the commentators have to say about the drivers. Listen to interviews and then pick a guy who you might like to see win. Watch the race as it progresses. He may not win but I gaurantee the race will keep you on the edge of your seat during the last few laps |

what happen with the race today, did anyone see it? Tony Stewart held off the hard charging Kyle Busch who tried his best to wreck Stewart on the last lap. I'm not a Stewart fan but as long as Busch don't win I don't care who wins. Tomorrows race now I want Mark Martin to win. I would love to see it!!!! I maybe home to watch if not Ron I will be looking for you to see what happened. 
If you're home you should watch. I have to run out for a couple hours in the morning somI may miss the pre race show but I should be home in time for the green flag. OK - don't hate me - I don't understand watching racing on TV...the cars going in circles make me dizzy - but watching the pit crews is fun Just like football but it is a track instead of a cow field.

Hi Hg and Range, Hope you had a nice Valentines day..I went to a friends wedding(at noon) and then came home and took a 2 hr nap.. Probably won't be able to sleep tonight now... Hi Silver. I spent most of the day cleaning house and doing laundry. This evening I'm just relaxing. Weddings wear me out. To much happiness? I've never been one for social events. I like them sometimes and again sometimes I feel uncomfortable. The noise and confusion eventually wear me out.I can go but can't seem to stay till the end. I eventually have to have the peace and quiet of my home. |

So what's on everyone's mind this evening? Me? I've been looking through stacks of unfinished poems trying to makes sense of them. I have one on my lap top right now that i will leave there and hope something comes to mind so I can finish it. So there you have it, my evening I hope something comes to mind! what is it about maybe I can throw some thoughts your way. HArd to say what it's realy about without posting it. I might post it as is and gets some comments to see what I need to do. Let me think about it. |
