I believe that some of the biggest lessons Christ taught was by dying for others when he did not have to. His selfless love for all of mankind was proven by his death. He also proved to the "church's" of that time, that even a blood sacrifice of God in flesh would not change anything if people did not stop pursuing a self indulgent lifestyle. He stated in his next to last sentence, "father forgive them for they know not what they do". He was saying that to try to get people to understand that they had been lied to for so many generations about what the truth was, that they no longer understood what it was God wanted them to be doing. More than likely, no one could have stopped what happened to him. It was his destiny. He died in our place. If we can get to the point of understanding, we will immediately have our knowledge transformed to wisdom. All made possible by the words and actions of only one man in the history of the planet, Jesus of Nazareth!

tombraider, just let go of all the crap that causes any doubt, most of what we experiance in this life is based on lies, therefore not real. christ's flesh died, but not his spirit. his spirit is still amoung us.

I know some angels, they typically don't use swords. Some of them do have some nice chariots.

Wished someone had told me that there isn't any oxygen up there!!!
I've got a peice of pink granite from the very top of pikes peak. I was wondering why the park ranger was standing there with this confused look on his face as I put it in the trunk of the car. As we got to the bottom of the mountain I noticed one of the signs stating that collecting rocks from a natl'l park was a federal crime. oops! Oh well. I didn't know until after the fact!

Mine is the mountains, the air is cleaner, the veiws are great. When I'm in the mountains it feels like I'm free. One of my favorite things to do on earth is ride the chair lift up at a sky resort and take a couple of t_kes. Wish I could live there.

Tough out there ain't it, I like that song/poem. Pesky old man evil/satan/devil doesn't waste his time on unbelievers, he's already got them. The only ones he's got to deceive are the ones who are trying to live for the lord. Wish people could see it as pain as I do. Maybe they do, they just don't want to waste time on those who don't.
