Mine is the mountains, the air is cleaner, the veiws are great. When I'm in the mountains it feels like I'm free. One of my favorite things to do on earth is ride the chair lift up at a sky resort and take a couple of t_kes. Wish I could live there.

I've traveled extensively and my favorite place to travel in the US is through the Smokies. I despise the beach, so that's not even an option.
As for living? Home sweet Kansas. NE corner right on the river across from Missouri. Tiny little town nestled in the hills, surrounded by the plains. Now I'm homesick... |

Yea you are correct, I love the mountains also. I went up on Pikes Peak once and took a couple of tokes off of a regular cigarette and found out what John Denver was referring too...talk about being Rocky Mountain HIGH...I almost passed out!!

Well going from only where I been so far myself it has to be Blue Ridge Mountains which is part of the Appalachian Mountains. I love visiting the Shenandoah NP and the Great Smoky Mountains NP. Plus they have the Blue Ridge Parkway which is like 50 miles stretch of beautiful highway rounding the mountains and over looking lakes and valleys.

I love the ocean. The salty sea air. The rise of the waves in a storm. If it is tropical or even sub tropical all the better.
