I do believe that there are some good men out there, as there are some really good women, just waiting to be found. I think the key is not acting desperate. I do not like being alone, yet I am doing just fine alone. I do not need someone in my life I want someone in my life to share it with.

Dates are so different today. When we were younger (me) we had drive in theaters to go to , dances at the armory evey other week, cruised the strip in down town where we met alot of great guys. It was so different then. I am telling my age UGH, but it was fun and we had fun doing it and we were good kids. Never drank nor smoked or got in trouble, just had good clean fun, where oh where have those days gone?????

I always heard 50/50, but I was married to the same man for nearly 35 years and I have to say I think it is 100/100. You need to give it your all. I would hope that I find that someone that is willing to give totally of themself, not part of them. I agree there were days that neither he nor I wanted to give it all and we did not, those days were not the best days to say the least. If this guy is not giving more than 5% it is time to take a honest look at that relationship. Your sister is lucky to have you.
