Actually a person on a death row is more expensive than a person in for life. It takes many years and lots of lots of tax money.

Back in the day, it only cost the price of a 20ft long rope, which is actually re-usable and could last for many years.

Seriously, I got a better idea. I can make hell on Earth to anyone who deserve it. If he killed someone, he had to re-watch all the tapes recorded of the person over and over again (mandatory) running day and night in his cell with pictures decorated of the killed one and has to go each week to take flowers and stair at the killed one's grave for hours and tell what she or he could have been now if she or he would be alive.

It's the endless cycle of repetition is what hell is and he would be in hell.
