Maybe you caring about a family member that as a problem makes it a problem for you because you love them and seeing them hurt makes you hurt and if you hurt then it is your own pain then your own problem.

Your problem by Choice.
Freewill.
What you think about you bring about.
Einstein said that you can't solve a problem with the same mindset that created it.

If we responded to difficult situations with positive or peaceful mind they would not be problems for us. Eventually we might even regard them as challenges or opportunities for growth and development. We must take 100% responsibility for our own lives. We must stop blaming others and making excuses for the way we act, own it, control it and find purpose in our lives.

Thanks OP for a nice topic as the New Year approaches....

You will never, I repeat, never find any comedy within a thousand miles of any top 25, top 50, top 100 or top 1,000 list written by me.laugh

like sands through an hourglass, so are the days of our lives... sorry but comedy soooooooo rocks... live a little, laugh...

and Coen brothers are good, but the classics of Golan & Globus movies... no list for my top movies, too many and not enough bandwidth lollaugh

Miss E said it great....flowerforyou
Love
partnership
trust
loyalty
friendship
respect

All rolled into one package, and this time I don't settle for a man who only believes in some of that.

Sometimes you may need to take a step outside and rethink why so many negative thoughts oooze out, sure many have been betrayed, divorced and try to find that 'perfect image' to fit into our ideas of what we want... funny thing is how many could have skewed reasoning behind choices in partners.... seems all families are dysfunctional and those raised carry on what they saw and experienced continuing a cycle of unhealthy relationships.

It gets cumbersome to post to many who whine without making changes themselves to be the best possible person for who you want to draw into your life. Same repetitive dating mistakes in ""who"" we are picking... but we each have it within us to decide what qualities we want in a partner. Love, partnership, trust, loyalty, friendship and respect are attainable.

Captain and Eileen are one of many success stories on here as I also met my guy also on JSH, there is hope for all. Some wish lists may have to be edited and refined for some, some may have to do some honest soul searching and many like the single lifestyle, but I think marriage is a union where two souls reside as one. Some want it, some don't.... doesn't make it right or wrong, but it is interesting to gauge definitions within age frames...

Thanks again Mirror, nice to see you keeping the threads rolling still a year later lol:smile:

I actually enjoyed the CGI and special effects of the movie, for a remake they did a nice job.

Environmental messages might be what we actually need for a wake up call, but many minds stay closed so the more things change, the more they stay the same....

BC actually has a lot going for it in the movie industry btw... seems to be some other deeper rooted issues at hand than venting at a movie deemed for entertainment...... indifferent
