I dont lock my door at night, only reason I close it, is to keep animals from walking in, I would hate to find a bear inside, not joking, I am very rural, my home joins a piece of national park 3,700eacres, my home is on top of a mountain, people dont go looking for trouble in rural areas like this, as it would be another disappearance! yes I have a nice big tractor with a backhoe, true redneck area are safer from crime generally speaking. yes it exists in areas with public housing, or close, ie where crackhead rented a place, but very safe place.

my second home, 1 mile off a dead end road, way more rural than this. just a tiny bit more people on main roads, several miles away, still zero crime. neighbors are rural farmers, and of course, wont dial 911 if issues occur,

I once wanted to visit. Now I couldnt be paid to go there, thanks to laws passed that can make innocent people criminals. All their anti-Biker laws, special jails for Bikers, considering them them criminals. Arresting those traveling 2 or more, to hold for questioning, or even arrest for paraphernalia, that could be papers in locked briefcase in trunk.

The real Biker world is very real and dear to my heart. And places that do what they have, I would never set foot there. Biker for life here, rode 40 years.
