you wanna know whats kinda strange is that they say every year christmas is advertised a day or 2 earlier.... 5 years ago you wernt hearing about christmas befor halloween... just seems weird to me... COMMERCALISM! I was a bit surprised to at how MUCh there was already out there. I expect to see it some after Halloween. I think the economy might be having something to do with pushing it out there even earlier. They know we are all broke and buying things a little at a time |

You have my deepest sympathies. Some people touch our lives deeply and your feelings towards this friend show your true heart. My Dad passed away totally unexpected at age 47. From that I learned there is nothing anyone can say to make things better. Just knowing you are surrounded by people who care helped me more than anything. My advice, dont forget his family. Remember important events in there lives, drop a note just to say Hi. If he has kids, take them to the park or McDonalds, bowling, anything. Spend time and let them talk, vent , grieve, whatever. You don't have to say anything, just be there. What hurt me the most was people were there only for a short time. Only my truest friends were still around a year later. There is so much his family will deal with in the coming years and you never know when they will be hit again with the grief, loss, and pain. It comes unexpectedly. Let yourself go thru the grieving process. In this day and age it is so comforting to know that there are people like you still out there that truly care. Hang in there!!

OK Krimsa we agree to disagree. I responded to the abortion issue because I have been in this situation twice. Once was rape the second an unplanned pregnancy. Abortion was suggested, offered and almost forced. I'm so thankful I listened to my heart. My daughter is such a blessing and I wouldn't trade her for the world regardless of the circumstances of her conception. Also, Doctors have proven that the cases of pregnancy due to rape are few as the body naturally protects itself during times of extreme fear and pain. As in my case, nature took its course and I lost the baby within a couple of days. I was able to have 3 healthy beautiful children since. I know several women who cannot have children due to abortions that were performed legally and by quality doctors. I will say, no this does not happen to everyone who has an abortion.
