Yeah good job Crystal, it looks like a Labour of love, clearing the space and everything else... I have to admit I've become a bit lazy and any free time I get, I try to catch up with friends at the pub, or generally lounge about lol... I hope that the corner of the garden is safe from strong winds too Thank you! We're getting reasonably strong winds tomorrow. I'll keep an eye on it! |

Good job SC ! Thank you so much, Julie! I'm really happy with it :D And because of the way I set it up I can easily take him indoors during winter if I want to. It can stay outdoors, Paverpol can handle that, but it can be very windy and storm a lot here. I wouldn't want the wings to get damaged. The corner where he's in is quite sheltered with the hedges on 2 sides, but still... I take all deco and statues indoors during winter, Venus de Milo, Buddhas, Quan Yin etc. I'll add AA Christiel's statue to it. For now I enjoy the statue being there! |

Last Saturday I suddenly felt I wanted AA Christiel outdoors in the garden where I created the portal of Lyra.
Until then I'd sort of lost inspiration to do that. The grass in that part of the garden had gotten way too long so it'd mean a lot of work before I could even get to putting the statue there. Saturday felt right, I got to work with mowers and so on, until it looked like it should. Then it was time to put the bamboo rack in its place and after properly anchoring that, AA Christiel's statue on top. To be able to attach the statue to the rack I used a new round BBQ grill. I fastened that to the bamboo rack with wire. The statue doesn't weigh much so without it'd blow over with the least bit of wind. Here it is! The area directly in front is where I concentrate the portal. I keep empowering it on regular basis. The whole setup. The white unicorns in the conifers around the area. The blue chunks are to weigh the rack down more. It's recycled car glass, sold for garden deco. The colour turquoise goes well with AA Christiel. From greater distance, it's almost a straight path from the front of the garden to the portal with the statue :D Close-up. I added the (fake) pearl in his right hand. The other holds the white ascension flame: Then I put a few solar lights with it. It's a dark corner with conifers on 2 sides, in the back of the garden, and I wanted it to be lit up at light. I will add a few larger solar lights later on. After it was all outdoors, me totally happy, I saw it was 17-8-2024 ==> 8-8-8!!! No wonder I had inspiration to get it done that day! |

I'm a believer. This has been proven to be real with current technology etc. These days one could hoax such a vid but not at the time this was shot. The way the muscles move, the shine & movement etc. of the fur is real. At the time they could not fake that. They didn't even that quality fake fur that would / could drape around someone's body. Proven fact. This is a real creature. They even managed to establish the height of Patty. Watch "Expedition Bigfoot". That's how I got all that info. Not only did they go out to try and find definite proof, they also went to see scientists & experts concerning certain matters. That's how they could say -based on new expert research- that this short film is real. She -as she has breasts- wasn't very tall. Maybe a younger Bigfoot? |

Shouldn't there be bones of bigfoot and sasquatch laying around that people can do research on? That's one of the mysteries. Theory is that they have a specific way of burying their dead. There's also ample material to support the theory that they can make themselves invisible. Science is investigating invisibility, probably for military purposes, and have actually come close. I've seen them do it in the docu series "Expedition Bigfoot". Scientist proving it is possible. To us it sounds far-fetched, but scientifically proven and shown. Another thing is, that wherever there's a lot of Bigfoot activity the US military show up out of the blue. They've also fenced off vast stretches of nature where there tends to be a lot of Bigfoot activity. Meaning... US government knows a helluva lot more about them than they're willing to let the public know. Also means they're real otherwise government wouldn't behave that way. I think it is also highly likely that US government has captured Bigfoot. |

Why would you want to kill one?
In order to verify a species for science, you need a body, living or dead. It's been that way for centuries. ,,, That's what I detest about science. It can do good things but in many ways & aspects it's horribly outdated. How can they claim to be contemporary and to be the 'know it all' in the world when they need to kill a living being in order to say "we have proof!" There's been tons of proof. The only reason that's not considered valid is that science is to far behind for the existing proof to be enough for them to say "we have proof!" Isn't that insane? Just because one aspect in society has become the gauge, the God of Proof (so they think), we have to kill living beings. It's 2024 for crying out loud! As long as they're lagging behind they shouldn't be the gauge for "it's real" or "it's not". Thanks goodness many scientists are changing and don't operate so b&w anymore. but the mainstream that everyone latches on to, incl. governments, still is. |

Ask their name???
Is it a blind date? Normally when you go on a date you know their name. You also know some background info from chatting before meeting. Personally I have nothing specific I'd ask. I am not into 20 questions, but in a nice conversation. If conversation is difficult it's not the right person for me. With the right one it just flows and you automatically get to a question here and there, but then it's a natural thing that is related to context of the convo. |

Crystal nice to see you again. You have been missed. . I had a guy recently sent me a picture of his legs. I know he has a leg fetish, but was taken back by it. Thinking okay I thought we said friends. Never understood the duck face, crazy face or tongue sticking out the side of their mouth. It worst when guys do it. Just my humble opinion. Hi Gia, thank you so much!! Lovely to hear from you as well :) I've been busy with lots of creative things and when it comes to dating looking on national dating sites. Hence me spending less time here, only so many hours in the day!! |

It gets even worse... many men also think a duck face is attractive.
Now it's not attractive for most women to do, but I can tell you it's seriously off-putting when a man does it Another thing I often see is men making photos when they're for instance sitting on a deck chair or settee, feet up, to show off their legs, almost from the hips. Such a feminine thing to do, sexy when a woman does it, not very masculine for a man to do. |

Thanks Julie :)
It's finished! He's got legs now, a 5 0'clock, highlights around his hair and clothes, worked on both their shoes. Added the lantern on the right, finished the low wall on the left. I made the flowers in the tree brighter and so on. |

I got to this last night. Still not done.
First attempt of the dress didn't feel right so I changed it. And of course worked on the highlights of the bench. I added some very fine detail on the hood of his sweatvest. Just a wee bit more aquamarine blue in very thin lines. And altered the top line of his sleeve. I suddenly noticed it was way too high and the folds annoyed me as well. Now it's much better and I'm happy with it :D Also done her hair, at first it was rather bland. His will get some more depth as well. |

The part that said "This daddy got to get a pretty baby girl... (blah blah blah)" made me laugh out loud. Not a great profile at all. The images and introduction hits an all-time high level of cringe. The positive is that I enjoyed the comedic side of it all, although I don't believe that that was your intention... Hereβs a little FYI for you, that was my intention! And, it seems to have worked! I canβt tell you how many women have liked me already, well over 600, and when we chat, they find that I am a very good and loyal man and a good catch. How impressive. And yet... here you are. Your profile is only about sex while most women -certainly the ones your age- want something serious. There's nothing in your profile that could pique interest. |

Making AA Christiel statue!

I've just finished the wings!
I had initially wanted them to be a little wider and then curl over but it would also make them like sails on a yacht. And since it's very windy where I live I decided to not go there. Now he looks like this: Now wait for it to dry, then I can continue painting. |

I am sure J Biden leaders are very concerned about him running again 2024.
J Biden is definitely a puppet Man. It's true that there is a lot at stake in this next election, and everybody wants their side to win. Biden's no puppet, though. Despite his difficulty to articulate his agenda in voice, he's still a well-experienced and accomplished leader. Under Biden The US recovered from the pandemic better than any other country on Earth. In several metrics, the US economy is better now than before. Compare how we fared under Trump during the pandemic, where we performed below average in many statistics, and US shoppers were left fighting over toilet paper and hand sanitizer. And even today, Trump makes cringey misstatements all the time. Speaking to CEOs, Trump left the room completely unimpressed. I'm sure He's glad the shooting takes the focus off his obvious stupidity and mental decline. You clearly don't know anything about what went on in other countries. I think the US was among the ones that suffered the most. We had no food shortages for instance. If memory serves, you could get only certain amounts of groceries -if they were available to begin with- because there was severe shortage. We didn't sink so deep over here, so we didn't have to recover from the same big blow either. Certain branches of economy suffered, not all. But government helped most financially so they'd survive. Just one example. It's best to educate yourself before you start posting things that are totally incorrect. |

I don't see Trump being the right person to lead the US into the new times, away from patriarchy, fossil fuels and so on.
If nothing else he wants to lead the US straight back into it since he's so horribly conservative. Nevertheless... what happened was uncalled for and unbelievable. And it underwrites the need to get rid of possessions of weapons by any Tom Dick and Harry. It's the only way to end the high level of violence in the country and regular massacres when someone has a bad hair-day. I never understand how anyone can feel safe knowing anyone and everyone can carry a firearm and begin shooting any time. No doubt this event will affect Trumps campaign for the better, especially with the photo of him raising his fist with the US flag behind it. I must say I was impressed how fast he got down, even before the secret service people had rushed in. The man sure as heck ain't stupid! And I do hope he's fine, quite the thing to have happen to you. In spite of that he still isn't the right one to lead the US into a glorious future. |
