Feeling... happy I finally had a nice conversation with a guy on a dating site last night!
I had not expected it at all, but turned out we had a lot of the same interests :D |

I find myself using free online AI a lot for painting.
It used to take me forever to find the images I could use to create the sketch I wanted for a new painting. I resized, cropped and merged plural images on the pc for that. Took me hours. Now I give a thorough description of what I want to ChatGPT and it creates the image for me in minutes! It's not always immediately how I want it so I need it to tweak bits and pieces. Make it lighter or darker, change the position of an arm or whatever. Sometimes I have to wait 24 hours as I've reached my limit of free subscription. But dang, does it save me a lot of time! A great solution when you don't have a reference photo of what you want to paint. I've also used it when I did have a reference photo of a cowboy on a galloping horse but the legs of the horse weren't in the photo. Real pain in the neck as the legs are the most difficult to paint! So I had ChatGPT fix that for me and I could start painting :D I also started using it to make the sketch from the image I want to paint. Normally I had to erase the 'inside' of things in Paint3D or Gimp, which took me forever. I did that to save printer ink. Always was a tedious job. ChatGPT does it within a minute! In an of itself I am not a fan of AI but using it for this kind of thing is really nice! And it doesn't take away anyone's job. The one thing I don't like is they refer to themselves as if they're human. "I think..." for instance. And they program it that way so it feels more natural to us users. It's not like the program feels or thinks. But I don't like that. Almost makes you want to thank it for its help when you're done which is ridiculous. But yeah, it's humans themselves who create it that way because human users feel more at ease when it functions that way. That could be tricky. If they make it so it learns & evolves to be more and more like a human... then it's a small step for it to start thinking for itself which is not what you want! Difficult development for sure. |

Fuze - 2025
IMDB rating 6,2. I give it a 7,5. Very enjoyable movie. London undergoes a citywide evacuation when an unexploded World War II bomb is unearthed at a busy construction site. Amid the escalating tension and chaos, a daring criminal operation is set in motion Normal - 2026 IMDB rating 6,3. I give it a 6,5. Enjoyable but not one I'd watch again. The new sheriff of a small town in Minnesota uncovers a dark secret while investigating a botched bank robbery. |

Simple solution: don't send photos. You have plenty on your profile for anyone to see what you look like.
Develop the skill to sense whether someone is collecting sexy photos from women or genuinely interested in you. Don't be so eager to try and please a man. A man should be eager to try and please a woman. A man has to win you over, not the other way round. They're the so called hunters (chasers), no the woman. So stop pleasing them, use your intuition -which is our feminine strength- to sort the chaff from the wheat. And as soon as you feel you're doing anything to try and please a man stop doing what you're doing. And don't do anything that you're not comfortable with. We're often so used to doing whatever out of fear the man will bugger off. But that is not the way to get a guy. |

Pressure 2026 with Andrew Scott as meteorologist James Stagg and Brendan Fraser as Dwight D. Eisenhower They face an impossible choice--launch the most dangerous seaborne invasion in history or risk losing the war altogether, the pair work to plan the Normandy landings during the World War II invasion in the tense 72 hours before D-Day. The factual history of D-Day meteorologist James Stagg, his fierce clash with Irving Krick, and how accurately predicting a massive storm saved Operation Overlord in this historical deep dive. Very interesting film. I'm happy you posted about this one. I just watched it, and really impressed. Excellent movie, very much worth the watch! I rarely go for WW1 or WW2 movies, just not my thing, but his one was good! |

Burlesque - 2010
With Christina Aguilera & Cher. I've got this one myself, don't often watch it though. What a joy it was to do so, hotdanged great movie! It always makes me emotional and cry a bit -which is why I don't watch it often, hihi. Reason being that Christina's voice is so beautiful and powerful. The woman has a 4 octave vocal range?!?! Freddy Mercury almost had that, same for Matt Bellamy (Muse) but she has it?! Unreal. She does all the dancing herself, trained for months for that. Really not easy as the dancing is intense and she has to sing simultaneously AND have the right facial expressions too. But damn, does she pull it off! Aside from that I love burlesque style dancing & outfits so yeah, just love love love the movie! For me a 10. Top entertainment. |

The Book of Eli -2010
With Denzel Washington, Gary Oldman, Mila Kunis. A good movie, especially the fight scenes are very impressive. Denzel is so fast it's unbelievable! Like watching Jet Li which is quite something as he is incredibly fast. Turns out Denzel trained for months in martial arts style Kali to be able to do it. He did all these stunts & fight scenes himself. Apparently he also did all or most of them in the Equalizer. You can see him train for that in this short clip: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lvx1Cdc7iu8&t As for the Book of Eli... good except for finding out which book it is all about. The world would be better of if that wretched book disappears, incl. all other gazillion versions of it. Would've been a helluva lot better if the book had been the last version of "Man are from Mars & Women from Venus". At least that book would benefit mankind. So in that sense it's disappointing, but that's my personal thing. |

I look at skin color a little bit (maybe not in the way that this post was originally talking about though...lol). I am someone who is outside a lot, so if I see someone who is so pale and without a tan then I figure they are not outside much. How are they going to be doing stuff outside? But I know some people just do not tan so it is not for certain. I barely get a tan. Not even when I lived in Indonesia and Australia. I have to be very careful as I very easily get sun burnt. I've had real bad sun burn a few times, once in AUS, once in Sumatra. Not healthy and bloody painful! |

Vanessa van Edwards, a behaviorial researcher, talked about using AI to find out if you're more competent or warm. You can have it check your dating site profile but also do the same with important emails you wrote for your business. That gave me the idea to do the following: I had pulled 3 Tarot cards that represented me. I asked AI a question based on those cards and the info was spot on. I also asked what kind of man would be a perfect match for me based on those cards. The reply was exactly what I'm looking for, what I need in a man. Couple days later it dawned on me I could also ask AI to write a profile text for a dating site based on those Tarot cards. The profile it came up with was great! It said it could also make it more playful, I asked it to do that, and wow!! The good thing of this is that AI doesn't add ego things into the mix so in that sense it becomes a much cleaner profile text. And it has easy access to a ton of info so if you tell it to write it so it is appealing to men it knows how to phrase things. If you want to do that as well you do have to 'feed' it core qualities and stuff about who you are deep down. The better and more accurate that info is, the better the outcome. I don't plan on giving AI any of my personal data or "core qualities" I don't need that chit in my life OR to tell me how to live.. power to those who feel it's a useful tool.. until it's not Then what are you doing online? I mean, how do you think that is run? It's not tons of people connecting you by manually putting plugs in & out of sockets. Nor are there people in huge libraries quickly looking things up in books & encyclopedias whenever you type in a search query. We are used to the net, everyone uses it, even old people. We're familiar with 'bots' which are just programs. The whole of internet is a bunch of programs. This forum, shop software, online banking, etc. etc. AI is the same thing, programs. Yet you do use the internet. |

Mini series Safe - 2018 - IMDb rating 7,2
Another one that's based on a novel by Harlan Coben. 8 episodes Took me a long time to get into this series. Not until the 6th episode I think. The last 2 episodes it finally began to work for me. I had trouble figuring out who was who. Sometimes they mentioned a name and I hadn't a clue who that was. Might be because I didn't play close enough attention, dunno. But that does mean it isn't very captivating, hihi. I think I rate this a 6, based on the above. |

Thinking... gonna be another warm day, pfff... Heat already got indoors.
Since this heatwave is going to last more than a week it'll be a while before it cools off again inside. I'd been looking forward to summer but this is just too much! But better than rain and overcast, hihi. |

Thinking it's been another nice day :)
Some painting, easy but nice meal, phone call with my mum, pruned the roses when almost dark, watched a nice series and now it's time to go to bed. Half past 1... Good night! |

Stay Close
Mini series based on a Harlan Coben novel. This one is quite good. At first I almost switched it off as I didn't find it immediately captivating. But it got real good and the ending was a shocker. I did not see that coming! And then there was another li'l surprise after that... Definitely recommend this one! I'm giving it a rating of 9. |

Missing You 2025
Another mini series based on a Harlan Coben novel. So far I find this the best. It only has 5 episodes which I find a plus as at least the soapy stuff doesn't get dragged out too much. The only thing that left me a bit narked was the ending. It's not quite an open ending, or is it? I would've preferred a wee bit more so I'm not left with that question. But all things considered this one's worth the watch! |

Run Away
Another series based on a Harlan Coben novel just like "I Will Find You". It's okay but with a lot of twists and turns and drama. To be honest, I think these Harlan Coben based mini series would be better to read than to watch. They're basically soap-opera mini series that revolve around a murder. Still an okay watch but I prefer a series to be a bit more realistic. |
