They monitor heartbeat, respiration and perspiration. A sociopath can lie without demonstrating any change in their physiology. You woudnt have to "learn how to beat it." You would do it naturally as you would have been accustomed to lying to people to get what you wanted out of them. This is part of the profile of a sociopath. Besides, how could I question you to cover the last 26 years of marriage? I would not buy that. Its not worth the paper its printed on. If you had insisted on not taking one, I would have automatically assumed you were guilty. I'm a sociopath because I knew I never lied to my wife? I guess I can come out of the closet now. I went fishing one time and as I was driving home from the lake on a gravel road some quail flushed from the side of the road and one collided with the radio antenna on the car and fell on the hood in front of the windshield so I stopped. His head was gone so I had fish and one quail for dinner.
