She married an atheist who converted to Christianity for her. They got the perfect house with the perfect dinnerware, had the perfect child and attend church every Sunday without fail. She stopped talking to me 15 years ago because I was a "bad girl". I wonder if they are still perfectly happy.

Not sure lately, but oddly, although we grew up in New Jersey and parted ways after prep school, we BOTH ENDED UP HERE in Plano, Texas, without being aware of each other. Our husbands worked in the same tech company; our children went to the same school; she worked on the same road I did....
Had it not been for a directory coming out from our school, we'd have probably stayed clueless that we were right in each others' paths, TWO MILES APART. We went to a school where there were 68 grads, so think of the odds that the two of us landed HERE. |

I had two. Both went into the military (one to the Navy, one to the Air Force). For the one who entered the Navy, I've seen him ONCE in the past 23-1/2 years, and that was for about 5 minutes. The S.O.B. never calls or writes.
For the one who entered the Air Force, he was in for a lot of years, honorably discharged, and began designing security systems for prisons (he always was a computer geek, and a damn smart one). We remained in contact with each other up until about 6 years ago, when he started an arguement with me for no reason. I told him to go f*** himself, and I haven't spoken to him since, even though he's only about 15 miles away. Keep in mind, the three of us were like brothers once. Practically inseperable. |
