Sometimes it can, but then sometimes a car is just a car.

I like old cartoon one liners like "And now watch me pull a rabbit out of my hat." I sneak them into appropriate situations when possible.

My last boyfriend acquired the most stunning backless formal number with the most intricate hand sewn beading at a charity auction fashion show. That was 4 years ago and I've never worn it once. Ho hum! ohwell
And if you ask me...that's the only sane way to purchase that overpriced Barbie wear, if at all! laugh

In Arizona it's typical to see that in the evenings...you head out in the heat of the afternoon and keep a sweater in the car because before the night is through, you could get a little chilled. It's just not as easy to tell a date...hang on while I grab my long pants and change in the restaurant bathroom. laugh

I keep sweat pants or warm ups when I travel there. I went to bisbee az to visit my sis when she lived there. hot in the day time and froze my nee nees off at night laugh
Yup...you don't have to carry an umbrella though. If you get caught in the rain...just wait, you'll be dry again in 5 minutes when the rain stops. happy

Seriously, they have done studies on young girls growing up without fathers & "self esteem", but could watching the interation between parents be key in learning dating skills like the "bull sh@t detector"?
My dad was awesome...why am I such a crappy date? laugh

no you just expect more out of a man, because you know they are capable of it..... sucks for them...laugh laugh
Yeah, why don't they? New post to the men...Why don't you live up to your potential?

I know guys who blow off gifts or don't even mention birthdays...I hope it's because they have no idea that it's hurtful. I know a guy who's opinion was that it's all about spending money on a woman, but I never saw him make any free gestures either...so that's hot air.

My friend called me up last week and told me how her bf, (she lived with him) cheated and had been for almost 2 years, I offered her anything in my power to do for her.

I had only met him a handful of times, and not once did he strike me as a "good" person. I could see his eyes, and I didn't like it, but she was happy, so I didn't question it much. I had been in their home, broken bread with them, so I always showed him respect. I just kept him at arms length.

She called me today to tell me how happy she was that they were getting back together. I just had to say "well if that makes you happy, I'm happy for you."
Those sound like pretty thick clouds she's conjured up there. I hope she gets wise to the storm before it rolls in. She has a good friend anyway.
