I wouldn't call her fat..Maybe a little thick or "chunky" and I certainly don't want to hear her sing! yikes!! Her speaking voice is shrill enough.

Wonder what this thing did to the tiger population....They are kind of hanging by a thread there to begin with.. Something like this could have wiped that small remaining population out completely. Sad.
I still think it's Bush's fault.

The fact that the terrorists claimed responsibility and their long standing promise to destroy us doesn't mean anything?

Don't know why we aren't drilling. DRILL DRILL DRILL DRILL DRILL!!!!

Not only that but there is a whole buncha oil off the shores of our great land that we could and SHOULD be drilling for. For crying out loud.

GO HILLARY!!!!!

You don't gotta take that from anyone. You go girl! C'mon you can do it.. That this puppy all the way to the convention! Make them hear you!!!!

Sorry to say "No one wants to hear her anymore" Step back and
let Barack do our thing.... for all the people. Clean house

OUR thing? I don't think so.

Maybe yours but I want less government in my life. Less taxes. Victory over our enemies who are the practitioners of radical Islam. The governments hands OFF our free market economy especially in the health care arena. I want to be energy independent which means pursuing nuclear development and drilling on our own soil for oil. I also want to control our borders and deal with illegal immigrants as what they are. ILLEGAL immigrants. I want a president who understands that it's not the lack of government intervention that is wrong with our economy but the opposite.

Will Barack champion those ideals? I don't think so. I'm afraid that none of our current crop of presidential choices will champion all of these. I will vote for whoever hits on the highest percentage of them though.

The war will go on whether or not we leave now. If we leave it will just spread, first to neighboring regions then to Europe and here.

duh

Poor people have always been fukced. Thats why they are called "poor". There are more oportunities for people to not be poor here in the US than any other country. So much oportunity that a lot of other countries are sending their poor here so they don't have to deal with them.

Nuclear. Drilling. Those are the answers to the OP.

I don't care what they had in the 70's. You'll never get me to buy into a conspiracy theory about it though. If whoever supposedly shelved the technology had run with it think of the bread they would have made by now. I don't buy it. If they did shelve the technology or design of a good efficient electric car back then think of the bread they'd make now by re-introducing it.

We'll have electric cars in the near future. As quickly as the battery tech is there. The question is how to create the energy and how much will it cost to produce that energy to charge them and does the ROI makes sense over say a 45 mpg internal combustion engined car.

I bet you'd be surprised. A good gas or diesel powered car can be designed to be very efficient. Not even talking about hybrid technology here. I'd rather have the gas version of most hybrid models out there. By the time you make up the difference of purchase cost at the pump it's time for a new car. No thanks.

Electric cars are a cool concept. Where to plug them in at night? How to make the electricity that they run on? Nuclear? Yes.
Now while we all save up for the first and 2nd gen electric cars could we please just drill for more oil here. Pretty please? It's under us and wants us to drill for it I know it.

This absolutely has to be Georg W. Bush's fault. Arrest him for manipulating mother nature now! No Justice No Peace!

If Greenpeace and the rest of the environazis wanted to do something constructive, why don't they go to Dufar and protest the slaughter of humans taking place there, or go to Tibet and protect the people there from the Chinese. With the world teetering on the brink of WWIII bears just don't seem to be a real high priority.

less people means more space for wildlife...go environazis!!!!

I vote we start with you. How much room for wildlife would be created if we sent you to the sun on a space elevator to try and cool it off? j/k laugh

Walmart is nothing without it's customers.

Or employees.

It's high time they learned that!

Wal* Mart's work force is 100% there because they choose to be.
Nobody is forcing people to work where they don't want to.

Ask Ted Kennedy why he is opposition to wind farms off the shore of Ma.

No one spends more R&D dollars towards finding an alternative fuel sources than the oil companies. Why? Because who ever finds the magic bullet will make gads of cash. That's business.

The problem is not a free market or lack of government intervention the problem IS government intervention and regulation. I say instead of subsidizing farmers to turn the world's food supply into a stupid bio fuel we should be subsidizing any company or individual willing to spend the R&D $$ to find and alternative to oil. In the meantime let the oil companies drill where we know we have oil and let them build refineries to turn that oil into gas. Think of the job creation. We have the technology to do it all with minimal impact to wildlife so why not us instead of China? They have the OK to drill off of Cuba now. Think they give a crap about the environment? I think their record speaks for itself.

Sometimes I ramble...

OMG! Tell me how we are going to protect bears from melting ice. It's the SUN PEOPLE. It's not due to anything we have control over, unless you have a temperature controller for the sun.

I do know.

Illegal immigration is a huge issue right now. I'm sorry if I let it sneak into a thread about Americans celebrating a Mexican holiday while the overwhelming majority of illegal immigrants in the US are from Mexico. The Mexican government encourages it for crying out loud.

I have no problem with folks of Italian origin flying Italian flags but even you said they also fly the American flag. Not so for some other nationalities within our country.

The world needs more Hee Haw and less of the tripe being beamed out into cable TV land. What is the modern day equivalent to Hee Haw? If there is one let me know so I can DVR it.

We could also ask what is the price of the government tax on a gallon of gas. I thinks it's $.52 a gallon now. That is ridiculous. The tax shouldn't be as high as it is now in the first place.
