She probably wants to start over or to get back together. Would you want to get back together with her?

Just sitting around. Reading. Watching TV and movies with my room mate. Cleaning our apartment.

I just need some time to relax.

Usually. I love being neat but because of school sometimes I just don't have time.

But I stayed up until 4 am cleaning out my closet because I couldn't sleep unless it was clean. Does that make me a clean freak?

I'm anemic and I used to take an iron supplement, but since I got thyroid disease I have to take those pills and nothing else before or after that so I've stopped taking them. I try to eat better/ eat more iron because of it.

most good looking people are shallow because they get to much given to them because of there looks. they also tend to be stuck up

Ive made that assumption too. Been proven wrong in it as well.

It's interesting because I always assume the best of good-looking people and think that people I don't find good-looking are not intelligent.

Different experiences with people probably.

Oh, brother!!
Well, beauty is also in the eye of the beholder, so he's really messed up on all of it. You are attractive, but what if the guy was only into beauty as blonde & blue eyed? He makes no sense!! And, it's not nice to judge. explode

Well no kidding. He thought I was pretty and I guess most of the women he found attractive were always stupid. He didn't treat me badly the first few times we met because of it, so it was fine. Everyone makes generalizations and judgments.

I thought the typical lack of intelligence assumption was based on blonde hair and breast size.

I dont typically make assumptions on looks but i am sorry to say, the more into sports a man is, if he is not a participant at least, the less intelligent he appears to me.

This makes no sense, I know, but i do it.

It's fine. We all make generalizations sometimes. It's just the way we are.

The way we treat people according to those generalizations is what matters.

I try not to generalize anybody based on looks. If I did I would not have the diverse friends I do.

I understand that. But even though we try, we still do it as human beings. I'm just asking what kind of generalizations do you make about good looking people when you can't help it.

"We like to talk big... vampires do. "I'm going to destroy the world." That's just tough-guy talk. Strutting around with your friends over a pint of blood. The truth is, I like this world. You've got...dog racing, Manchester United. And you've got people. Billions of people walking around like Happy Meals with legs. It's all right here. But then someone comes along with a vision. With a real... passion for destruction. Angel could pull it off. Good-bye, Picadilly. Farewell, Leicester-bloody-Square."

If that's too long I'd choose:

"Blood is life, lack-brain. Why do you think we eat it? It's what keeps you going. Makes you warm. Makes you hard. Makes you other than dead."

still too long.
how bout 'got blood?'

That works too. laugh

Assume a good-looking person is stupid?

My boyfriend told me he was surprised at my intelligence when he first met me. Because he was attracted to the way I looked and assumed I must be dumb if I was beautiful.

However, every time I see a good-looking person I assume that they're intelligent.

I learned in psych that most people assume good-looking people are intelligent.

I don't like passing judgments on people, but we all do it whether we think it's right or not. I'm just stating what usually goes on in my head.

What kind of things do you assume about good-looking people? Or about other people that have a certain characteristic?

I would be a depiction of "the Scream" by Edvard Munch, because I'm scared for humanity.

Hi! Could you do me?

I want to ask if the man I'm with now is the right man for me?

elsathebloody:

Your current relationship appears to be stuck in neutral. Try looking at the situation from your partner's point of view.

Once you do, an answer that has eluded you becomes utterly clear. Your feelings of loneliness and isolation are only temporary.

Mistrust is an issue, unnecessary secrecy are mor likely to lead to isolation that to security. Although you need to guard against underhanded people, this suspicion can lead to paranoia if carried too far.

Don't allow others to take advantage of you. Don't be brow beaten into doing what you don't want to do. If it is right you will know it is right, there will be no question.

A lot of what you said makes complete sense. Thanks so much! happy flowerforyou

Im not a lesbian but I HATE high maintenance girls. The skirts and the hair and the matching purses. Grab a pair of jeans and a semi low cut top, a little mascara and lip gloss and be on your way. And then again Ive been single for 5 years...maybe I should buy a skirt.

Just because a girl wears a skirt doesn't mean she's high maintenance. All I wear are skirts because pants are uncomfortable to me (especially jeans). But I don't expect to be treated better because of it, and my skirts aren't expensive.
