Arrows of syllable, swords of sentences
Shields of sounds and clubs of phrases
Blow darts of alliteration
These are the tools of the poets’ nation
No rules exist in this strange land
Except it must come from heart to hand
Form is second to pure expression
Feel free to break with convention
Our daring makes grammar teachers blood run cold
We are the rebels of the writing world

Thanks sister. Glad I could clarify, especially since this is an old poem and it gave me the opportunity to see another point of view of it (actually sharing most of what I've written is something I haven't done since grade school and I'm really enjoying to hear others input).
I couldn't agree with you more. There aren't nearly enough geniunly nice people in the world (and there won't be until everyone is).
Its been a long day (up at 5 to feed horses and doing barn work until 7 tonight) but I got a lot done and this made my night that much better Hope your weekend is going well.

A true gentleman is very much respected in my book sister (didn't realize the wording made it look otherwise but I see it now, I'll have to edit). I was more trying to refer to false chivalry (some guys are very good at mimicking gentlemanly behavior but only if they think they'll get something out of it).
