somehow, i would still expect for good old fashioned pork politics to figure into what state gets the jobs.

i saw that also, and thought how tragic it was.

must be almost unbearable for their children, if they had any, and other family members and close friends.

i've never seen a whole group of laws w/as much flagrant "looking the other way" by officials, as various immigration laws or statues.

yep, just another way of accomplishing amnesty, right before our eyes.

well, she's gone.

but a larger question remains.

what does this epidemic of big dollar tax evaders tell us about the quality of our current public officials and politicians?

i'm glad he's gone, and felt ONLY disgust at his tearing up when announcing his withdrawal.

puh-leeze......will the ploys for cheap sympathy never end from politicians who manipulate the public from day one of their career?

i'll give obama a pass.

he wanted this man, either for balance, skills or to satisfy required political interests.

he tried, he failed.

at least he manned up and demanded the withdrawal....unlike bush II, who would have sweptt this under the carpet and brought him right in there w/the rest of his many ethics-challenged people.

by attempting to put his ex through unnecessary surgery, with the ever-present risks, and by trying to deprive her of her one working kidney and this end her life (presumably)----this doctor has crossed the line.

no excuse, guy, for this.....and don't whine, please.

he should be reported to his state licensing board for ethics violations and/or mental instability.

he looks to have a tough battle in the upcoming senate impeachment trial.

they can toss him from office.

from there, it's in fitzgerald's hands, to pursue a criminal indictment on the attempted bribery and attempted wire or mail fraud charges.

gov. palin, on the surface, appears to be such a conventional, "mom and apple pie" type of american woman.

her various extended family issues are something else!
