every time i've seen him speak, he has that vapid, simpering appearance and nothing but platitudes in his remarks.

how bad was his competition (in the gubernatorial race) that jindal even got elected at all?

well, what could we reasonably expect?

politicians promise change to get elected.once in office, they find the realities of what they walked into.

in politics and bureauracies, same as in real life, change is slow to initiate and to occur.

a major hospital is a snakepit and cess poll of dirty, messy, cluttered and unhygeniec environments, bizarre managers, poorly coordinated care from physicians and nurses, unprofessional nurses in ratty uniforms and filthy soiled shoes........

and of course, such typical denial and self-approbation!

i'm just puzzled why he made this comment, introducing the subject for some headline grabbing and provocative reactions right now.

his opinion is his own, and may even be a very valid observation.and, i am supportive of ongoing growth in minority equality.

but, i think it is a distraction for an obama cabinet head to divert attention away from obama's main mission currently : rescuing the economy.

i was surprised to hear she said this, myself.

she has either changed her thinking over 13 years, due to changed circumstances, or is representing obama's mission as he has conveyed it to her.
