Dang ghost!
Talking about that, I've been hearing strange noises in my house upstairs again. The only two people in this house are me and my boy and we're downstairs RCB. This house is a new build from just last year also. Very strange!:thinking::thinking:

Romans 8:28 King James Version (KJV)
28 And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose.
RCB, do you know that the missing link between our Primate ancestors and human beings was discovered to be DNA that had been manipulated in some way, about 220 - 250000 years ago? The older I get the more I question religion. It's been responsible for more deaths and wars than anything else in the History of mankind. It divides people and causes mayhem wherever it's practised. I sometimes ask myself if it was created to keep the masses docile and under control. We're all entitled to our opinions and views on things and I just prefer to think straight and question things that people try to convince me to believe, just because they do. I prefer an open mind, because to be truthful nobody on this Earth knows for certain, except what they read in a book, that was edited in the 17th century, to appease King James the VI of Scotland, who was also King James the 1st of England. The Bible has had a lot omitted from it. I wonder why that was? Something to hide, or don't want to be discovered I bet?

Sorry op Not trying to get way off topic.

Concerning the Bible being changed

Considering the bible is a collection off books and lots if translations you cant deny change. But the core meassage of the Bible has not changed.
The idea that the bible has ben through huge changes is a stretch and something done to weaken the faith of people who are trying to use it to know God. It isn’t really based on an understanding of how the texts are passed down or translated.
RCB, what I was trying to say is the bible has been changed and parts omitted from it. I want to ask "Why?" It should've been left the way it was and the omitted books like The Protevangelion, The Gospel of the Infancy of Jesus Christ. The Infancy Gospel of Thomas. The Epistles of Jesus Christ and Abgarus King of Edessa.
The Gospel of Nicodemus (Acts of Pilate)
The Apostles' Creed (throughout history)
The Epistle of Paul the Apostle to the Laodiceans. Why were these left out and why aren't real Christians questioning this? That's what I want to know? Would you accept your car going into the garage for a service and coming out again, minus two wheels? I wouldn't and neither should you. What is about these books that the church doesn't want you to know? I was raised a Catholic and the Catholic religion has posed more questions to me, than it has ever answered! I still believe in God, but in my own way. Not the one that people try to press gang you into believing. Yes, I'm a free thinker. If I wasn't meant to think this way, I wouldn't be in the frame of mind I'm in just now. We were given free will for a reason and I do question things. That's only human nature to do so. I always find though that people want to avoid answering those questions I ask and all I want to know is "Why?" I'm meant to listen to people preaching to me, but I can't query what they're telling me? Come off it, fairs fair!

For people not to post random hi’s and hellos , that have absolutely no meaning or contribution .
And read to see what a topic is actually about
That's true and one of the things that annoys me about the forums. We're meant to be having a discussion about a certain topic, without randoms coming in with one word comments, that's off topic. It just reinforces my belief that it's not hard to work out why some people are single! laugh laugh drinker

I think I once came across a documentary on that, by some ghost hunter who wanted to try and record things there.
But I'm not interested in seeing or feeling stuff like that. Been there done that, lived in a few houses with entities, one seriously bad.
I'm interested in places of Light :) Culloden is different but that's for other reasons. Kind of like unfinished business one way or another.
A pagan temple would be interesting!

And apart from that, I appreciate beautiful landscapes, but also culture. Being somewhere and seeing, feeling, hearing how people live and what they're like.
The Pagan Temple, is in the Vaults Crystal and it's still in use to this day. The rest of the place is as creepy a place as you can imagine! It takes a lot to phase me, but that place is unreal!

Hahaha, I think I'd find me another Pagan temple, lol.
Oh well... saving money. I will get to Scotland at some point!

That indeed seems lovely!
I don't think I'd heard of the massacre there before. Wouldn't surprise me that people see ghosts in such places.
Not my cup of tea, hihi.
If you wanna have a good chance of seeing ghosts, go to the Edinburgh Niddrie St Vaults Crystal. Spookiest place I've ever been, including Prague! If you go to Glencoe, I'd stay in Oban, as my base, rather than Fort William. Fort William is a shithole to be honest, but Oban is nice though and has a class wee restaurant, right next to the train station also!

Ah, Mary King’s Close. Fascinating place but I didn’t see any ghosts when I visited
Nope, Mary Kings close is just off the Royal Mile. I've been there. The Niddrie Street ones are just off the Cowgate. They have a Pagan Temple in there also Di.
