How does Chuck Norris change a light bulb? He stares at it so hard that it can't move, then the world revolves around him.

The quickest way to a man’s heart is with Chuck Norris’s fist.

Every time a Chuck Norris fact gets posted, Chuck Norris kills someone.

all i can say is this, those in the military have taken an oath to defend the constitution of the United States against all enemies, both foreign and domestic. If the government tries to disban firearms there will be a big mess as servicemen will be obligated to tell them all to kick rocks. My problem is they will do it slowly. Limiting your ability to buy them little by little as they have been doing. This, by definition, is an infringement of our right to keep and bear arms. There really is no argument to what they mentioned in the constitution. There are just being trying to twist words in their favor. Hopefully there will be no further firearm restrictions. But you all know and i know there will be.

Im for private ownership of firearms.

The argument that the right is granted, to resist Gov tyranny is not a good one!
Maybe in 1776, but not today...drinker

Self-defense, recreation, these are all good arguments.
The thought that you could stop a trained military unit is kinda ridiculous!!

I daresay that you are missing the point....Rights are not granted - they are inherent & unalienable. They are either acknowledged by your government, or they are denied by force, whether it be economic pressure, public safety, martial action, etc.,etc.. Our Founding Fathers recognized that Natural Law trumps government authority. Many repeatedly stated that a standing army could not withstand an armed revolt by the majority of the people, and tailored the Constitution so that it might always be so - that we would always have recourse to Natural Law, and the arms to both protect our country AND overthrow our government, if necessary.

IMO it would be a tie between being slow roasted over a fire, or eaten alive by animals.

I think every American should be given a gun..in that way we can fix both the over population problem (you guys are breeding like rodents) AND drain the shallow end of the gene pool (you're breeding dumb rodents)....
devil

well yes the population is growing

but a large amount of the growth is from

the birht of children to

illegal alien population

and i would not call them rodents or relate them to rodents

glad i did not say that

but then you may have a better grasp of the type than i

drinker drinker

-------------------

actually argentina has a higher population growth rate

http://www.indexmundi.com/g/r.aspx?c=ar&v=24

how much of it is from illegal immigration

have any idea

------------------

not intended to be a put down just researched statement

and posted relavent info

it is a shame ya have to post disclaimers

------------------

but i agree every american upon reaching legal age
should be issued a gun

and not just any gun

the same as is issued to the military

along with 500 rounds

after training of how to use it of course

Isn't that kinda what the swiss does? They seem to have gun violence down to almost nill...

Yes, their system is truly awe-inspiring, and, in practice, appears to be exactly what our own Founding Fathers envisioned for America. What happened?

True, but you still need to know which end goes "boom", and how to operate/maintain it.
lol.........39 been hunting since 12, think I might just know which end goes boom....lol and break one down also repair it

if that were the case...all main resources would probably be used up within months due to selfish survival tactics. yep, people get that way...think of AKIRA!

Which resources would that be? It doesn't mean to acquire & horde 400 cases of Beanie-Weenies. The goal should be to only stock up on enough supplies to sustain you until you become self-sufficient. Hording non-renewable material makes no sense, and would probably only make you a target for those who have adopted the predator/scavenger lifestyle.
Yes, I agree, some people would turn to that, and that's what all the martial skills are for.

I'm also just about finished, except for smelting & refining - haven't built my own kiln or furnace and processed raw ore yet, but do have a good handle on the metallurgy.

15 Then He said to me, "Have you seen this, O son of man? Turn again, you will see greater abominations than these." 16 So He brought me into the inner court of Yahweh's house; and there, at the door of the temple of Yahweh, between the porch and the altar, were about twenty-five men with their backs toward the temple of Yahweh and their faces toward the east , and they were worshiping the sun toward the east .

17 And He said to me, "Have you seen this, O son of man? Is it a trivial thing to the house of Judah to commit the abominations which they commit here? For they have filled the land with violence; then they have returned to provoke Me to anger. Indeed they put the branch to their nose. 18 Therefore I also will act in fury. My eye will not spare nor will I have pity; and though they cry in My ears with a loud voice, I will not hear them."

Yahweh is calling this an abomination

temple of Yahweh and their faces toward the east , and they were worshiping the sun toward the east .
Also he says they put the BRANCH to thier nose? What does Yahweh mean by this?

This is a very old custom. Taken out of Egypt. Where you get bunnies and eggs from. Why would you want to worship to something that is called an abomination?

Blessings..Miles

there is no mention whatsoever of Jesus or Easter here.
look at the context to understand this passage better.
there is no mention of Jesus or Easter in the OT. it
predates them.

You are correct.
Not only that, but Easter is a corruption of Eostre, and has absolutely nothing to do with "East" as a cardinal point. Eostre is the etymological source of the word "estrogen".
