Redneck, noun: a white member of the Southern rural laboring class Redneck, adjective: narrow, prejudiced, or reactionary: a redneck attitude. Those definitions are presently inaccurate, no matter the source of them. A redneck is a person who lives in a rural environment and who has customs and manners that do not conformed to so-called "civilized" society. A redneck can live in any rural environment, not just one in the southeastern USA. Also, a redneck is no more narrow, prejudiced or reactionary than a non-redneck. A person can be a redneck and still judge people according to the content of their character. This has happened to me. They are also eager to get you to correspond with them on an offsite IM, such as yahoo, etc. I was corresponding with a guy for a couple of weeks, and then it started to become clear. He was in another country working, and had lost his wallet. I could tell he was getting around to asking me to send him money, so I cut off all correspondence with him, and I no longer will correspond with anyone claiming to be working in another country, and alot of them claim to be widowed with one child who really needs a mother.

I've been meaning to come back to this thread for a while. I got side tracked and didn't do it. Anyway, I started this thread because I'm trying to understand something about people in general and maybe figure out something about myself. I don't understand how anyone can be attracted to a picture. Now, Don't misunderstand me. I've seen some women on dating sites I thought were nice looking in my eyes. But in the almost seven yrs that I have been using dating sites I have never been attracted to a picture. I've come across many men that fall all over themselves over a picture. I just don't get it. In all the yrs I've done this I have never met a woman on a dating site that looked exactly like her picture. If I choose to ask a woman to meet me it's because of the way we were able to communicate with each other. If I write at all it had nothing to do with her picture. If I write a woman it's because something in her profile, when I read it appealed to me. Sometimes I think I'm the way I am because I'm looking for something deeper. All I do know is, No one woman's picture has ever been that appealing to me. If I find her looks appealing it's after I meet her. Am I the only one that's this way? So how do you choose which profiles to read? Do you just go down the line and read them all? |

Vacationing in AZ; went to Spring Training Baseball games, the Renaissance Festival which was awesome, Phoenix Zoo, Rockin R Ranch was alot of fun, The Mining Camp Restaurant is very interesting. This was my youngest daughter's and my son's first time to fly in an airplane.

We do not allow transgender, transvestites, cross dressers etc. This works against what we're trying to do here. This is an adult website, granted, but we do want to keep it more in the mainstream of dating. For those who are into that sort of lifestyle, there are sites geared towards that. While we certainly do not condemn anyone for their preferences, we do have a goal, and this type of lifestyle simply does not fit in with our commitment, of providing a nice atmosphere for our users. We are open to the gay community, sure, but extremists, no. I just found it interesting how offended people seemed by the one who posted the question. They said you don't have a right to know such information, because it's medical history. But, I disagree, because it changes ones identity, and we have the right to know a persons true identity, at least I would hope we still have that right. I think knowing a person's medicl history before you enter into a relationship is very important. Some medical conditions can effect future generations. |

My only experience in Vegas; an ex-boyfriend said "Oh I'm so excited to show Las Vegas to you." This was in early November, and all we did was go to the Christmas sales at the Expos, and to the Rodeo. After the experience, I thought "Really???, is that what it's all about?" Nothing like I expected. I do plan on going back sometime to REALLY experience Vegas. I work with a guy who use to live in Vegas and he said, Freemont Street is the happening place.

First time I saw this, I was at the counter at a convenience store, and the lady next to me was, what I thought, standing there talking to herself, I thought she was wacko.
The fact that you are talking on a bluetooth doesn't necessarily mean that you are not a wacko. That too, is true. |

Oh yes it is a challenge! Even the pettiest things Im finding people are just not honest about. I dont know if people are afraid of being judged or what...it gets frustrating though. I havent let it stop me from trying to find a good relationship. I value honesty and integrity in people above all else and that will never ever change!! Is honesty all that you are looking for? What other criteria must a man meet in order for you to take an interest in him? I think her profile says she is looking for an alien from Melmac
