I was raised by a devout mom whose 7/24 lifestyle is that of a christian.
When the time came to choose I looked around, studying every faith that was in reach. Disillusion in organized religion set in and kept me away for years, though I lived my life trying to do the 'right thing' as she'd taught. you know "raise up a boy in the way that is right, even when he grows old he will not turn aside from it'. Well, . . . let's just say that several oats, and wanderings from the path later, HE found me when life was balancing debts the hard way. For the very first time in my life I personally felt him. I still don't go to church every single day, and still don't think there is one religion, and I don't thump bibles on anyone head, but I do strongly believe there is but one god and though life is filled with both challenges and rewards - He is still in charge with his universe proceeding well according to His plan or by His hand. |

JustSayHi was the first site I'd ever seen where you all seemed to simply enjoy expressing yourselves minus the instant grat expectations and misrepresentations on other sites. That was brand new to me. I like it, I really like it

I always said that I would spank my son, but he never gave me a reason too. I'm one of the lucky ones to have a child that rarely ever misbehaved. Of course now that he's 12 he's starting to be a little rebellious. All the best of luck as the challenge truly begins! |

THE SAME AGE AS YOU ARE NOW. Your lack of knowledge of the time of your birth doesn't change the passing of time in any fashion. Now, if we're talking about 'what have you deluded yourself into thinking your age is', well, we're right on topic. Not completly true, age is determined by the time it takes the earth to orbit the sun, but actual time perception can vary with individuals, time does fluctuate;^] Time doesn't change, the perception of time changes without some method of calculating it. Time does change in some instances, especialy when it involves distance vs. speed travelled. Space time flows differantly than earth time and gravity can bend space time. But, I guess this thread wasn't meant to debate general relativity;^] Bravo! btw: Perception is reality or as Adam Savage would say "I reject your reality and substitute my own"
