I dont think that it has to do with just men.........alot of women are afraid of committment as well!!! It depends on the person.......the guys you have been dating were obviously not "right" for you...... 
Exactly, it goes both ways. I have been used for sex. It emotionally hurts a great deal. I know the feeling. My advice is to get a rabbit vibrator and don't let them go down the chimney until they prove to be loving and caring. Tell them this in the beginning so you won't waste your time on another loser. I agree, as the gender lines continue to blur more women are equally seeking instant grat -v- getting deeply involved with its potential for pain of loss. But fear not, there are men and women out there who want the real thing and are willing to do what it takes to keep it. We're just hard to see beyond the glitter. Hang in there . . . |

I know it all, you know nothing slug, and 'confidence' says you are nothing, I am everything . . . then it really has nada to do with gender. Some people simply need to be 'feared'/left alone to love themselves. After all we humans could never be good enough any way! |

I have a HUGE problem with that one...............seeing that was another of mom's favorite disciplines.............that emotional abuse and it stays with the person even longer than the scars of physical abuse. I have to agree here. Emotional abuse is as real as is physical. |

it was brought to my attention in another post i did, that i have made up what a man (or woman) ought to be. its been a couple of days since replying because i wanted biblical scripture to back me up. well... here are my findings and i am going to let the scriptures speak for themselves. Ephesians 5:1-4 "be imitators of God, therefore, as dearly loved children and live a life of love, just as Christ loved us and gave himself up for us as a fragrant offering and sacrifice to God. but among you there must not be even a hint of sexual immorality, or of greed, because these are the improper for God's holy people. nor should there be obscenity, foolish talk or coarse joking, which are out of place, but rather thanksgiving." you all can also look up: Ephesians 6: 10-18 Galatians 5: 16-26 Exodus 20: 3-17 2 Timothy 2:22 feel free to add more if you have suggestion. this one go ahead and debate about if you want.
