Someone sent me a dozen roses while I was in the hospital once. And cards and letters are always nice, too. And I like getting e-mails and calls, too.
Other than that, no. Kinda wish my wife'd been waiting when I got back from a month in the field way back when, but wasn't to be. It's nice to reciprocate the way your partner does: If she sends a card, send one back, gives a gift, give one back. You find each other's love style and echo it and you can't go wrong! Some give time, some give gifts, some verbalize, you just have to match things sometimes. I did send flowers a couple of weeks back for an Easter surprise. They were much appreciated. |

Yeah, you need that Southern twang for that King of the Hill stuff. Northern talk's more Simpson's style.

I used to have Van Cliburn's autograph. Got it after a concert in Asbury Park when I was a kid.

What's a hot topic in your opinion, Hellkitten? One with lots of responses and controversy? A flame war? Something provocative? Little of each? Examples? How about a topic on large mirrored sunglasses?

Yeah. And why does Superman stand there when they fire bullets at him but when the pistol's empty and the bad guy throws it at him, THEN he ducks?

I usually notice how they're dressed, their hair and what they're driving. Then what they sound like and how they greet me and where they are going and react accordingly.
They usually notice my fangs, tusks, trunk and antennae first. |

I agree with S. I'd at least consult a lawyer, if I was you. Hopefully, a decent one. Legal costs for an uncontested should run about $400, I think, but you could ask the lawyer about that and they'd be able to advise you. Tell them what your spouse wants and they can work on things for you and with you. Keep talking and keep stalling, keep working on it and keep praying and things can work out eventually. Look in Psalms, too. There's a lot of trouble dealt with in there.

Boy. It'd be enough to change me to a one-color clothing scheme alright. You'd be right to get out of that one if you weren't hitched.
A pastor that wants to abandon his family isn't much of a pastor and isn't in the right place spiritually. That'd take prayer and a lot of scripture to deal with, I guess. Tell him you love him, if the feelings are still there, if not, just treat him and your child as well as possible and go from there, I guess. Good luck to you. Geo. |
