Just be happy Slim takes time out of his day to visit this outta the way Pub...and drinks the drinks .....before they get potent or stale ....
ALSO Sundays come after Saturday night drinking and gambling , so a big brunch is always appreciated ....and is crucial for Slim to survive the week.....so try to understand his disappointment when that Brunch kinda gets buried in excuses ....for no good reasons ....the sky was falling is not acceptable either

you know why some women have small feet.....cause then they can stand closer to the stove .... 
I cook thru out the week....its not like I starve....But weekend, there is nothing better than a prepared brunch , especially if organized by beautiful and handy women who dont really need a man.....I like the variety of the offerings just like I appreciate the variety of women I bump into.....sometimes literally!! Here's hoping the brunch re-appears , this time with no excuses ... you were doing great until yer last sentence    *Zee nails up a poster at the front door* SLIM BANNED ON SUNDAYS UNTIL FURTHER NOTICE..
 
Was about to go into this Pub , when I saw this obviously hastily prepared sign , filled with someone screaming Slim's name and something about a ban....I like when women scream my name btw....so I went around to the backdoor , and yeah some women like the backdoor, which was wide open as usual.....and fixed myself a drink ....and another one just for the courage to rip of that cruel notice nailed to the front door.....well lucky the Pub owner knew what she was doing , it was nailed solid.....so I threw the rest of my drink at the sign and headed home .... |

Today I feel just about satisfied , as the little plan I have seems to be working......the line is in the water , the bait is pretty good and the nibbles are a pleasure to see...just have to wait for that bite before I set the hook.....

yeah I was wondering about the "falling on the head".... I thought that was the reason the Pub was closed , and there was no Brunch available yesterday....so like Mo ...I had to go get a greasy spoon breakfast at Nickles (Celine Dion dinner)....
I hope the faulty construction part has been taken care off ...and no one was hurt...

Dangit, I wanna move to Canada now, haha. At least life is affordable there. I should find myself a nice Canadian bloke! Ha ha... dont buy into the narrative that we are the land of milk and honey. After 11 years of liberals running this country , and importing millions of potential voters , mostly from third world countries, the country is now comparable to any other third world nation ....and totally unaffordable in general aspects....jobs , housing and heralth care wise .. OT: Thinking if Crystal can find a NICE Canadian bloke , she will mostly likely have to sponsor him to live with her.....he will be happy to escape from Canada ... |

morning folks ....just getting in for my Vodka and OJ...
great to see some people awake at this hour.. TG have a great day watching the grand daughter play, hopefully both eyes are good to go...... Me gonna go play pickleball this morning with a swim planned for the afternoon , and then probabably the usual BBQ and drinks in the evening , weather is not too bad for that .... Yes, a trip to the CAsino late night , to give back some of the winning from last weekend ha ha !!!! |
