I like living alone because when I get tired of people I can just close the door.
I also like that when I put something somewhere it is still in the same place when I get back to it...use to drive me crazy looking for a pair of scissors...when my kids were growing up I can be a slob if I want to...cook if I want to...or eat froot loops for dinner...no one to complain ahhhhhh Freedom I forgot this one if I want to blow my food budget on a new leather coat or a fabulous pair of boots I can...thus the froot loops for dinner...oh well |

tootin' mah horn time, eh? I have a bad habit of not acknowledging my accomplishments so for once I will give it a go. First in my family to get a Bachelor's degree and pursue a higher degree! Accepted into Texas A&M genetics program! One publication thus far and working on a manuscript now! Figured out how to get high quality RNA out of cattle hide ('tis not easy to grind leather into powder) I have struggled through my journey here, but am now getting to where I need to be to graduate soon & my boss is really proud of me right now! Hopefully, by December I will have the title of Dr. added to my name :) guess I can really brag then! oh yeah, trained my own horse from start to finish...she is a nice safe trail mount! as a girl I should brag that I can fix & maintain my own dang truck! pretty proud of that Hey firefly a fellow scientist...what is your thesis research? I hope to defend next summer early fall.

I have 4 scientific research papers published in scientific journals from my research on the effects of morphine, methadone and buprenorphine on neonatal respiration. (all drugs related to heroin abuse)
And two US patents from when I worked as a process engineer in silicon crystal growth. I am currently pursuing a PhD in BioInformatics and doing research on the genetic components of the effects of alcohol on blood flow patterns in the brain. It aint good folks... There I tooted my own horn...that's really hard for me...I tend to down play my accomplishments...until someone points them out.. I never think I'm doing very well... |

Huh...I would think that would have the opposite effect... or is it such a huge hungry monster  that it must be fed regularly by as many female partners as you can round up...and thus one woman would never be able to fulfill its overwhelming thirst...you spend your days and nights skulking about the town in search of fresh meat to satisfy the beast...young and old..short and tall ..no woman is safe from the desires of goofballs enormous pecker...oh sorry I got lost in my own fantasies

I always wondered if people truly understand the diverse appearance of 'mixed' people, who can look like anything from blonde hair and blue eyes to brown skin and kinky hair,,,,, I can attest to that... I have three children they all have sandy blonde hair with either...blue eyes...sea green eyes or my youngest has hazel eyes Now I have 4 grand kids 2 with blonde hair blue eyes one red head blue eyes and one with black hair blue eyes Its funny though because my children are often recognized as being mixed by their African American friends but not so much by others... |

All 'Theory' is based upon the 'theory' that was postulated before... If the underlying 'theory' has an inacuracy so also will the 'new' one... House upon the sands. That is assuming a lot of rigidity for something built on sand. There is a quote on a wall at the Research University that I attend: "The greatest obstacle to discovery.....is the illusion of knowledge" Daniel J Boorstin It always reminds me to think in other directions...not to make assumptions...but to be open to new ideas. To me that is the mark of a true scientist. |

I do judge. But judging and imposing your judgment on someone are two different thing.... I don't impose my judgment...I offer my opinion They can sort it out however they like. |
