how can you tell? I always wondered if people truly understand the diverse appearance of 'mixed' people, who can look like anything from blonde hair and blue eyes to brown skin and kinky hair,,,,,

Race isn't something I consider for a relationship, because it makes no difference. Though, I am fascinated by some cultures more than others, I'm interested in all.

I can attest to that...
I have three children they all have sandy blonde hair with either...blue eyes...sea green eyes or my youngest has hazel eyes

Now I have 4 grand kids 2 with blonde hair blue eyes one red head blue eyes and one with black hair blue eyes

Its funny though because my children are often recognized as being mixed by their African American friends but not so much by others...

I have found the same thing during my lifetime that the black people I know seem to have been more aware when they were in the company of someone MIXED than others do

I think , because of the history, black people might TEND to have seen more diversity within their ,,,experiences than other races have in american history,,,which tends to many people believing in old fashioned RIGID asthetic characteristics being ONLY in one race or the other,,,, also because people are lazy thinkers and it slips their mind that (particularly once we grow into adults) cosmetics and hair styles can cause DRAMATIC and hard to detect change to our NATURAL appearance

although most people probably might QUESTION the race in that first set of pictures I posted , they probably would assume the second group were a black girl and two white girls

but to the OP, I think ALL 'races' of people have both BEAUTIFUL and asthetically challenged individuals amongst them
