Here's my whine.. stupid people. I swear they make life HELLO sometimes. I got so mad at work today I just wanted to walk out but sadly I'll be back tomorrow to just deal with more stupid people AKA patients. I think I'll start sending them to the local mental hospital for a few days stay... 
Wow!! I sure hope that you are thinking about a change of job!! I also hope that you are not a nurse who is supposed to have an unconditional positive regard for patients... Maybe you could ask for a transfer so you don't have to work directly with people... or maybe you are just having a really bad day and did not mean to call patients "stupid" and "mental"... Maybe they are not able to understand that friggen complicated health care system we have now... sorry that you feel this way...

It is a most excellent day!!! no matter what goes on, what happens...I say it is a most excellent day!! even IF I am not wholly feeling it...when I say it out loud to myself..it sure makes me smile!! even when life is pretty difficult... even when I get so frustrated trying to find a job... It is a most EXCELLENT DAY TODAY!!! I could be completely crazy...in which case... It is a most excellent day!!! |

Do we get clues? Do we get to be clueless? Are we all secretly "Jake"?
No we are not all Jake. For instance, those who are clueless cannot be Jake. Jake knows and has seen too much. is this kind of like the "jello" and "creme brulee" comparison from the movies?
If I don't go away now, are you going to virtually slap me??
It is most definitely from a movie, but adapted to our current environment. Slap you? Like I said I want the truth??? Can YOU handle the truth???

in my opinion, this is the single most important sentence in this thread: Mental visualizations are only representative insofar as the behavior's are parallel. For example, light is not a wave, light is not a particle, light is light. yet, no matter how much "darkness" you pile on a light, it does not extinguish it. |
