I've never flown in an airplane. But I did fly my dirt bike 68 feet. (And landed safely)

I looked at one once in my doctors office one day. Had I ever bought one, I'd have wanted my money back.

Once burnt, is twice wairy.

Or, once was enough. I didn't lose much in my divorce. I highly doubt I'd be so lucky the second time around, so why tempt fate?

Sanity would be a nice start. Most that I've ever met seem to have depression issues. The tip-off to me, is carrying extra weight. They eat to feel better.

Most want the ideal man. They tend to have too many grand expectations of men. A male friend, and a boyfriend are two entirely different entities. The boyfriend must live up to a higher standard.

I don't want a demanding woman. Almost all I've met, expect more from me than I'm willing to give. I don't ask for much.

Which is why I decided to simplify my life, and not get involved.

I have been hit by an illegal without a driver license. I chased them down and made them pay for the damage. They paid cash. They kept saying no policia no policia. They had their car tagged in another state and we're living in our state. If there were no illegals then there wouldn't be a problem.

If they can't do what it takes to become legal whether it's because of money or not.oney isn't the only reason an individual gets blocked from this country. Criminal history is a reason and we should make it easier. I don't think so.

A country should not be responsible for the fees it costs to get your history and do an investigation to find out if you are approved. Yes they should have to pay for it.

My then wife and I were driving down the street, an illegal ran a stop sign, and plowed into us. He was drunk, had no licence, or insurance. The vehicle plates were for a Chevy, he hit us with a Ford. Had he not made his own vehicle undrivable, I'm sure he would have driven away.

Our insurance co. totaled out our van, even though I drove it home. I took the $2200 that they paid us, and I repaired it.

Get used to the idea, that a drivers licence is nothing more than a formality. How would you stop them from driving? Short of killing them, you won't.

Illegals will drive, licence or not. I actually think illegals will drive safer, for the only reason that they won't break the laws, that get them stopped. I drove for years without car insurance. How do you do it? Follow the speed limit, watch what others around you are doing, and anticipate what those cars are going to do in front of you. (and behind) Stay off da phone.

States say you must have insurance to licence your vehicle. But they don't check if you actually have it. I used an expired policy number for years. I have it now, but only enough to licence my vehicle. They used to call it defensive driving, but I haven't heard it called that for years.

I still drive like I don't have insurance. The mess you have to cope with after an accident, becomes the reason why you should try to drive safely. I avoid busy streets at certain times of the day, just because people aren't watching what they're doing. I spot people driving like garbage all the time. Go do it in front of me. You can't hit me, If you're in front of me.

Ahh, the smell is coming around.

A division is starting, Socialist democrats. Pelosi is getting to play second fiddle to AOC & company. Since when did we have to even think about anti semitism in congress? Now we do. Adam Schiff is busier trying to get rid of Trump, than to do his job. Eight committees have been formed to find some dirt on Trump and company.

Dems in the house are doing what was predicted- nothing productive, except trying to force Trump out of office. In its simplest form, its called-

Lying to the public.

I'm all for bouncing out socialists from holding public office. If dems had any backbone, they wouldn't have allowed bernie to run for president in 2016, because he isn't technically a democrat. They brought it on themselves-ha ha.

Taft was solicitor general, circuit court judge, and governor of the Philippines. He would have rather have been a supreme court justice, instead of president.

Eisenhour, had some, being a military advisor to the Philippines. What he actually did there might have had given him some political experience.

Zachary Taylor, no. Heck, he didn't even vote before he became president. Another little curious thing- his second daughter was married to Jefferson Davis for a time. (She died three months after they were married)

Must be on both ends then, seeing the surety of those insisting Hilary or Obama have committed crimes, with not only no DIRECT indictments, but none of those around them other, unlike number 45, who, in spite of allegedly qualify by being such a great businessman seems to really have a knack for surrounding himself with INDICTED individuals.

And just how many of your friends are criminals? Yes, it sounds awful that you might have a friend or two that was in trouble with the law. But if they DIDN'T tell you, then how could you know? People won't air out their dirty laundry to their friends.

You sound like Trump knew all along that his friends were dirty. Not so. His friends crimes, are not Trump's affair.

Bet you wouldn't be at all happy if people started to accuse you of misdealings, because you were friends with some criminal.

Such long answers. Mine is short. TRUMP

I guess there always is that rare possibility a decent independent or democrat candidate might come along to consider. One should keep an open mind to that very slim possibility although I can't possibly see where a quality candidate could get the democratic nomination.

I don't see one dem running that I'd even consider worthy. Sanders wants to increase social security payments. Since he's a communist, I know he's lying about that happening. One good, ten bads makes him undesirable.

I wouldn't know how you could improve it. Large cities have people that have no concept on how life works in the less populated areas. Want to lower the general population numbers? Let the big cities run things. Call it, less food, less people. Two ways that would happen. One, people starve. Two, people get turned into fertilizer stealing food from the rural people who can no longer use the things that made the big crops.

You might not think it's that simple sounding, but it is. Our extravagant system, has never changed since the caveman days. It's just gotten more complicated. We get everything, from just two resources. It's either grown,or mined.

Trump, I'll vote for again. He's not ideal, but miles ahead of all the other crazies that think they can do it better. This Jim Webb you speak of, I've never heard of him before now.

People knew who Trump was long before he ran for president. He was always a "Git her done" sorta guy. A do it now, type.

We didn't have the time sit and study on how it needs to be fixed. Bet it drives him buggy, to see dems throwing bandages on problems. They're really good at doing that. "Oh, lets fiddle with it and make it work." The heck with that, give it a toss, and replace it with something that does.

We're ahead, because Trump tossed aside the stuff that didn't work, or wouldn't without a lot of change happening between time. None of this do now, fix later thinking. Start preparing for tomorrow by starting small today, and working up to it. Then when its put in place, it works.

"Yahoo News"

News for yahoos. None of it is true. Half of the stories they put up is "Sponsored Content", which is clickbait. A way to advertise the life out of you, and contaminate your device with viruses.

She's asked for nothing rational. If we don't like any of her ideas, we're racist. That ploy was used by those that didn't like anything obama proposed. We were called racists, for not going along with him. Since I didn't like his job performance, I was considered that. Ok, I'll play along. I'm racist, so, he gets called what normal racists would say.

Cortez, in her infinite wisdom, is trying to take away people's rights, stated in the green new deal. Some are completely illegal. Now, however, she may be involved with champagne fraud. I'm reasonably sure she will plead stupid, and get away with it all.

But the fuse was lit. It's just a matter of time before it blows up in the dems face. Sit back and enjoy the show.

Our reliance on fossil fuels will slowly decrease but it will take time and a lot more scientific development. We heat a lot less with wood or coal today and most wood burning stoves are much more efficient and less polluting. The same can be said for many other forms of fossil fuel usage. We are developing power storage technologies that will make wind and solar energy viable but we aren't there yet and won't be for a number of years. Eventually travel will be powered by something other than fossil fuels and gasoline will only be used in antiques. We have started and will continue to move forward but it can't be accomplished by some legislation demanding it; only technology and scientific research can make it happen and that takes time! Have you seen a hydrogen powered car or truck on the road yet? Maybe some other new technology on the way?

drinker

You got it! We haven't got the engineering yet to be able to produce the energy needed to run the world. Peabrains like AOC can't fathom what it takes to do such a thing. They can legislate 'til they're blue in the face, and it won't get it done any faster. Doofus obama was that way. (Still is) This is where I don't believe that politicians are worth a hoot, and they wasted good money on a useless education. They only got a name, which in many cases, isn't worth anything.

AOC in congress, that's laughable. What can she do well? Wait tables. (I wouldn't trust her to make a drink right. Sic John Taffer on her. Bet he's cut her to ribbons!)laugh laugh laugh

That talk went around once before in 2016, when obama was on his way out. It's just changed sides, and now it's Trump that won't leave.

I'd be more worried about a socialist getting elected. Or not getting elected, because the socialist viewpoint could very well sink the dem party. Then again, The GOP was supposed to go sailing down the hole in 2016, and they didn't.

Its pure scuttlebutt, on both sides.

Illinois has special problems. Double dipping in the states retirement fund for state employees does hurt Illinois. Then, the scuttlebutt about Illinois dissolving, and the state land being annexed into the border states was rather funny, and then again, it wasn't. Another low point in Illinois politics is this-

4 of Illinois' last 7 governors went to prison
Rod Blagojevich — Governor from 2002 through 2009, when he became the first Illinois governor in history to be impeached. ...
George Ryan — Governor from 1999 through 2003. ...
Dan Walker — Governor from 1973-1977. ...
Otto Kerner — Governor from 1961-1968.

The Daily machine in Chicago didn't help matters. Jane Byrne, Harold Washington, Rahm Emanuel, aren't brite spots in their political history. Jeez, rotten politicians seem to be the theme in Illinois. Who else is a product of that states political history- obama, and clinton.
(hillary was born there)

Heck, they couldn't even payout their lotto jackpot winners for a time. Anything that could bailout the red that Illinois has, has to be considered.

You have to consider this also- Illinois is bankrupt. They just haven't declared it-yet.

(It would be the first state to do so, if it did)

So 2 points really.

1) How do we know that guns were not in the trucks? The red cross for example has been caught ferrying arms in the past.

2) How come we don't hear of 'Food and Medicine' trucks being taken, to say Haiti, for example. They could sure use them, I think

Go ask hillary. She was the one that was raising funds for Haiti. Don't pay any attention to the 90% cut she took out of the money raised would be missed.
