no one gender plays games anymore than the other!

even by saying "i'm not gonna play these games" or if you accuse the other of playing games, that in itself is playing games!! you are making yourself the victim of this "gameplaying" which is you putting yourself above the other person in your head - that is you playing the game back!!!

if you think someone is playing games with you, just let it go! if you are standing at one end of the tennis court with a racket in your hand and someone else is at the other hitting a ball to you, just let the ball go past you!! don't hit it back! (i like my analogies and metaphors can you tell? lol)

age is just a number... i'd be more inclined to look at what you have in common, and not the year you or your partner happened to be born - they dont have control over what year they were born!

diets don't really work...cos after diets people tend to eat the way they did that got them fat in the first place and put all the weight back on again. trust me i've tried every single one! you need to change teh way you eat forever! its not easy but possible, if ican do it, anyone can!

i used to just "follow my heart" - i know it sounds corny, but you really gotta use your head aswell i've learned! you have to think if the person you are with will enhance your life, or take away from it. all this passionate love is fun and exhilarating, but for something to really last there has to be so much more there, passion or fire eventually dies down, and when that happens you can either be left with glowing embers, or a pile of ash. so you need a bit of both head and heart IMO

i'd probably just grab my son and run!

my house was on fire a couple of years ago (just the outside of it but i thought the whole house was cos it was full of smoke) and i just grabbed my sleeping baby and his blanket, which i just had time to dunk in some water to put over his face (dunno why, saw it in a movie one time, i think its supposed to help you breath thru the smoke or something?) and i ran! i never even thought to grab anything else like photos or my laptop or even my shoes!

toughest decision i ever had to make as being a parent was whether to get him immunised against a certain illness or not. it took me months to come to a decision, and still a year on i am not sure i made the right one.

worst moment of being a parent was when my little boy was just born and he wasn't breathing and unconcious...i thought he was dead, he was black and alarms were going off all over the place. the medical team eventually did get him breathing and i could actually see his heart start to beat in his little chest. started off the worst time of my life, and turned into the best.

what is race? erm... the only race i really recognise is the human race! colour, religion, creed, culture, etc are just variations of the original. there to mix things up and add a bit of diversity.
i don't define anyone by their beliefs or what they look like. judge each person on their own merit IMO!

worst break up.... my ex was ill, he had to go to a hospital quite far away for a few months. i got a letter and poem from him in the post, extremely sad and upsetting, saying he just needed to concentrate on himself and getting better. he wouldn't even talk to me. i cried for ever it seemed! thats the only time i've ever been broken up with, but i thought it was pretty bad! only time i've had my heart broken - once was enough!brokenheart

my ex really annoyed me one time.... so i changed his name by deedpoll. he laughs about it now (as do i) but at the time he was not impressed! i cant remember exactly what i changed it too, but it was something juvenile and childish with a bit of toilet humor i think. laugh

i am a vegetarian so don't eat meat, and obviously wouldn't kill an animal to eat it. but, i have friends who hunt for meat/game etc, and practically everyone i know eats meat so it doesn't bother me in the slightest if other people want to do it (as long as they arn't deliberately being cruel).

i'd save my ex if he was gonna die. i don't "hate" any of my exes, even if i moan about them and say that i do hate them.

ashton! thats my little boys name and everyone comments on how lovely and unusual it is...although it's probably more common in the US.

I also like the name Gabriel, Harrison, and Corey.
