I am pretty poor myself, but send money to the DAV. Disabled American Veterens. They don't care what you send, it all helps. Most of the time I really don't have it to send, so I send $2.00-$5.00. And they always keep me in more then enough return address labels, I love them. The vets and the labels.

I have done lots of other things too, but this is always my favorite one to help.

What about a local park. There are more and more single men with kids then what there used to be.
Just a thought. Good luck.

I donated blood until they said I could not do it anymore, because of heart pills that I take.
My hair is just past my butt right now, and I am getting ready to donate it too.

Teddy bears, and candles.
I have two bears, one is a bank and the other is a stuffed bear still in it's original box, he plays music and had fiber optic lights. Both were given to me by a very special friend. bigsmile
I have tons of bears, but these are a couple of my most favorite ones.

You better get ready grandpa, she's going to be a heart breaker. She's going to keep you busy.
She is a little sweetheart.
Congrats.

I will use a coupon if I find one for something I use, but they usually don't have them for the store brands. So I don't get to use too many of them.
At Wal-Mart though, if you watch in the meat dept. they will mark meats down to sell them faster. Rather then throw them away, and if you freeze them or use them right away, they are fine. That's how I buy most of my meats.

Yup, Save-A-Lot is one of mine too. Aldi's and Wal-Mart are my other favs. Aldi's is another box store, or bag your own stuff.
But Aldi's you have to buy your own bags or bring some with you. I snag the bags from Save-A-Lot, and use them at Aldi's. LOL

I watch them more too. In fact I'm going to a Friday only sale at a local grocery store today. I shop in at least 3 different stores, because I know who has what cheaper. I use a lot of store brand stuff, instead of name brands. And I always check the sale ads before going in.
There are very few things I will not use the store brands.
But mac&cheese, I'll only use Kraft, tomato soup, I'll only eat Cambell's, but I will cook with the off brands.
So yes, when it comes to what I buy, I am cheap too. ohwell

Pigeon Forge is right next to Gatlinburg, and is much cheaper.
Gatlingburg is great to visit, sight see and whatever.
But look around Pigeon Forge for a place to stay.
I loved Gatlinburg too, but it was worth the short drive to save as much money as we did on sleeping arrangements.
Hope that helps. And have a safe and fun time when you do go.

Yup, I sure have. I bought a can of shortning just before Easter, and paid $2.99 for it. noway It's always been $1.79, what happened? I also went after bread. The one I normally buy is .69 a loaf. The cheapest I found was .99, and my old faithful was not even there anymore. Which is really odd, considering it was plain old white bread.
