My last bf has a daughter that I miss so much, she tested me at first but I guess I passed because we became very close in four years, she turns 11 next week and it's so difficult knowing she's out of my life due to his decisions. I can't have kids of my own and did not know how much I could love somebody else's kids until I got to know her. That being said, I would still date a man with children but now I know the pain of losing multiple relationships when a guy leaves and hope that doesn't scare me when it comes to getting close to any kids the next guy might have.

I've been single less than two months and on here for just over one month. I've cancelled one date after actually talking on the phone to a guy that sounded great in print but said some things in conversation that just didn't sit well with me. I've emailed some really wonderful guys on here that just live too far away to be datable (is that even a word?) At least knowing that great guys are on here gives me hope that I can find one close to home.

Zero, I do much better in real life, I would of thought it the other way around. I know it sounds like bragging but it is not meant that way....I am routinely hit on by women 25 to 31 (four this year) in real life. I go out with them and are friends but tell them they are to young for a serious relationship. So I go online to find someone closer to my own age and I can't even get anyone to look at me...I am truly puzzled. Except the Philippines sites, A guy could get trampled to death!

P.S. I am open to suggestions and comments as to why this is not working for me.
I think you are great, love your profile, your sense of humor and your look. We live too far apart to start anything is all. You have to remember that the women your age have experienced more and know to be more careful so they don't get hurt. Those young ones see what they like and go for it without the fear that comes from having been burned. You have a lot to offer, you will find a great lady, you will just have to work at letting the more mature gals know risking their emotions is worth it.

In my experiencce, much younger guys can be a lot of fun at first, but then they are a lot of work. Seems they are looking to be taken care of, want more of a mommy than a lover. Conversations get more sparse after a few years. And it makes you feel old when you go to reminisce and realize, for instance, that he was in diapers when you were enjoying the bicentennial.

   Should have been the first RED FLAG...........rofl rofl rofl rofl

I STILL haven't read the whole thing myself laugh

Heck it would take ya half a day........
I did read the whole thing, it did take me half the night, I actually had to take breaks for a meal and to get up to stretch a few times! I just felt like if I stopped I'd be missing out on something. I have been accused of having OCD, maybe that was it because I'm certainly not a scammer. And for those of you who have been unable or unwilling to put in the time to read it all, Lex was just barely exaggerating the other night when he stated that he repeated himself 638 times. I do recall reading once that the human mind is more likely to absorb facts through repettition. So just maybe Lex's profile is not just a continuous mad rambling but a well thought out way to get just what he wants. Good luck with that, Lex!

My sister used to catch Daddy Longlegs spiders and pull off all but one leg and watch them spin in circles on the porch.

We would pull the 'glowing part' off lightening bugs, fire flies...
and put them on our ear lobes. I've always felt really bad about that, especially since we don't have them (fire flies) out here. ohwell
I thought we were the only ones! We smeared them on our cheeks and forheads like Indian warpaint, though and then play Ghost in the Graveyard. They didn't glow for long so you had to keep getting more.

Had sex on the first date.
That has to be by choice because I don't see how a girl could keep her hands off of ya! Mmmmm you look good in that picture!

AT ron ! I know you have heard this probably many times . But HANG IN THERE !Living in a society where having fun means spending money is curse on one's wallet .
Thanks, I do more than hang in there, for the most part I'm a pretty positive person and I've never been materialistic. I like the person that I am and that's way more important than liking the things that I have. ~Ronda

Cookies...? I try to stear clear of cookies these days. My buddy got mixed up in the wrong crowd and lost his life over a stupid $5 worth of cookies... indifferent

Those girl scouts can be visious if you try to stiff them on a box of Thin Mints!

My favorite place to be is out in the woods, up on a mountain in West Virginia, visiting with family. Haven't been able to do that for a long time.

As a kid we spent one week every year going to visit my dads folks. We'd spend a whole day driving down, never stopping except to use the bathrooms. There was always a cooler full of food so we didn't even stop to eat on the way. Then the four or five days we were there we'd watch Dad being a good son helping to fix whatever broke during the previous year. We'd play outside and have wonderful meals and discussions and catch up with the family, but we never really went and did any type of recreational activities.
Now that I'm an adult I guess I'm classified as the working poor. I make enough to pay my bills, but barely. There's no money left at the end of the week therefore I have no savings and can't even imagine spending the kind of money people do just to have a little fun.

I did do something for myself today! I spent a bit more than I should have on a new top to wear to a concert. I've always done that type of thing for the guys in my life but very rarely for myself. I found exactly what I wanted and decided I was worth it today!

I have never cared much or even bothered to think about a guys credit rating and it has screwed me up and over repeatedly. I still won't check up on something like that, but I do hope the next relationship I get into is with someone mature enough to actually pay his bills and be able to prioritize such matters. The last guy never even bothered to open his bills let alone pay them but spent plenty on hunting and fishing gear and new tattoos.

I confess that I feel cute tonight! Went to see Little Texas and Confederate Railroad and laughed and danced and had a great time!

So nobody reponded, but it turned out great for me anyway. Ended up going with my youngest sister and our mom. We had a great time. We laughed and danced and it sure was nice to feel cute again! What awesome entertainers! Bought their cd's and got to thank the guys and get their autographs! Sorry y'all missed out.
