jello shots are fun,and really easy to make!!

to make them, just boil 1 cup of water, and stir in your jello mix,and then, add 1 cup of vodka, tequila,or rum to the mix,and fill up your little 2oz plastic condiment cups[with lids] that you can buy at wal mart,or just about any grocery store. [they are about $2 for 50 of them]
then just stick them in the fridge for a few hours, and you are done!

this will make about 16 jello shots per box of jello.

i always like to add a couple of ounces of fruit juice to the mix, too,to REALLY make them juicy, and flavorful!
[and,EVERYBODY loves jello shots!!]

You use Vodka and nor a fruit flavored Liquor? How much fruit juice do you put in and what kind? Do you let the Jell-O harden in the little cups?

it sure seems like andrew johnson, richard nixon, and bill clinton would have taken advantage of this loophole,if it was an actual thing, and not just a bunch of nonsense dreamed up by an over-the-hill lawyer who is so addled in the head that he cant keep track of his client's lies, and keeps giving him up on national TV,doesnt it??
LMAO!!!

You left out JFK and FDR.

I don't think any leader in the "free " world should be able to pardon him or herself. that's for the dictators of this world!
Surely you have something in place to cope with something like this?

Yes we have the Legislative Branch and Judicial Branch that can handle it. Also the individual states can call a constitutional convention.

I think the investigation is a waste of tax payer $$. I think the discussion of Trump pardoning himself is just more liberal drama.

Pretty much. Even the investigation into Clinton would have ended but he committed perjury.

well,as anybody who has watched the news in the past couple of days already knows, donald trump's lawyer, rudy giuliani,is claiming that it is impossible for donald trump to obstruct justice, since he is the top legal official in the country, and has the right to interfere in any federal legal case, and,if he commits a crime, that he can just pardon himself for it,if he is convicted.

to me,that means that he has put himself above the law, which i was taught to be totally untrue,as NOBODY is above the law, including the president of the united states.

do you agree with this?

should the president be above the law?

and, should he have the power to pardon himself,if he is found guilty of commiting a crime?

what do you think?

Tat also isn't correct. You should read up on the different branches and checks and balances. The President is part of the Executive Branch not the Judicial Branch. The top law enforcement official in the country is not the President but the Attorney General of the United States.

Our government is set up so no one is above the law. Your using some very bad liberal talking points.

That's a huge grey area. I don't think a President can pardon themselves. That is why the Nixon and Ford prearranged the pardon if Nixon stepped down which was the right thing to do. That would have taken down both Republicans and Democrats. No one wanted to see Nixon brought up on charges. The whole house of cards would have come down.

I admire President for that Pardon. It killed his career but he did what was right for the country.

Looking for creative ideas for a Pot Luck. We're having a Pot Luck BBQ Party and I wanted to bring something a little different like taking a Watermelon and injecting some type of liquor into it and putting it in a Refrigerator for 24 hours or getting some Sangria and putting it in a punch bowl with various fruit. Also Cherry Bombs and Jello shots are fun but I don't know how to make them either.

Does anyone have any ideas or suggestions for the drinks I mentioned or a different creative and fun drink to bring? Also is there any inexpensive fun food tips you have? I am horrible in the kitchen but I want to do something fun and creative.

Any input would really help!

A former Navy sailor who is one of five people to receive a pardon from President Donald Trump is planning to file a lawsuit against Obama administration officials, alleging that he was subject to unequal protection of the law.

Specifically, Kristian Saucier, who served a year in federal prison for taking photos of classified sections of the submarine on which he worked, argues that the same officials who meted out punishment to him for his actions chose to be lenient with Hillary Clinton in her use of a private email server and handling of classified information.

His lawyer, Ronald Daigle, told Fox News on Monday that the lawsuit, which he expects to file soon in Manhattan, will name the U.S. Department of Justice, former FBI Director James Comey and former President Barack Obama as defendants, among others.

“They interpreted the law in my case to say it was criminal,” Saucier told Fox News, referring to prosecuting authorities in his case, “but they didn’t prosecute Hillary Clinton. Hillary is still walking free. Two guys on my ship did the same thing and weren’t treated as criminals. We want them to correct the wrong.”

Daigle said that a notice about the pending lawsuit was sent to the Department of Justice and others included in it in December. There is usually a six-month period that must lapse before the lawsuit actually is filed.

“We’ll highlight the differences in the way Hillary Clinton was prosecuted and how my client was prosecuted,” Daigle said. “We’re seeking to cast a light on this to show that there’s a two-tier justice system and we want it to be corrected.”

While campaigning, and after taking office, Trump frequently voiced support for Saucier, who in March became the second person he pardoned.
Trump often compared the Obama administration’s handling of Saucier’s case with that of Clinton.

Saucier, who lives in Vermont, pleaded guilty in 2016 to taking photos inside the USS Alexandria while it was stationed in Groton, Connecticut, in 2009. He said he only wanted service mementos, but federal prosecutors argued he was a disgruntled sailor who had put national security at risk by taking photos showing the submarine's propulsion system and reactor compartment and then obstructed justice by destroying a laptop and camera.

Saucier said that he recognized he had erred in taking the photos, which he said he wanted to show only to his family to show them where he worked. But he lashed out at Obama officials, saying that his prosecution was politically motivated, prompted by sensitivity about classified information amid the scandal involving Clinton's emails.

“My case was usually something handled by military courts,” he said. “They used me as an example because of [the backlash over] Hillary Clinton.”
Saucier, 31, said that the pardon has enabled him to pick up the pieces and rebuild his life with his wife and young daughter.

A felony conviction left him scrambling to find work; he finally landed a job collecting garbage. Now, he works on design and engineering projects for an industrial boiler company.

“Things are starting to go in the right direction,” Saucier said. “I work with a group of really great people, I get to use my skills set.”
Because of the loss of income during his imprisonment, as well as earning below his potential when he collected garbage, he and his wife Sadie lost their home to foreclosure.

Debt collectors called and his cars were repossessed.
“With a pardon there’s no magic wand that that gets waved and makes everything right,” he said, “But I try to stay positive and look forward.”
He praises the pardons that Trump has granted after his, and takes exception at the criticism.

“The Obama administration singled out Dinesh for things most people don’t even get charged for,” Saucier said. “President Trump noticed that my career was exemplary and that I didn’t deserve what happened to me.

Conservative commentator Dinesh D'Souza, who was pardoned by Trump last week, had pleaded guilty to campaign finance fraud.

Trump tweeted Thursday: "Will be giving a Full Pardon to Dinesh D'Souza today. He was treated very unfairly by our government!"

D'Souza was sentenced in 2014 to five years of probation after he pleaded guilty to violating federal election law by making illegal contributions to a U.S. Senate campaign in the names of others.

You will love Florida! I moved here about 30 years ago and have no regrets. Not particularly fond of the Miami area but there are some really nice places just north or south of there.
You may find that you will get into things like salt water fishing, jet skiing, boating, scuba etc etc that you really can't do in Nevada(spent some time there too).
We also have casinos if your into that LOL.

Whats the cost of living out there? It would be nice to make some friends before I move there. Someone said to look at Hollywood.

Your coworkers will form the most immediate, local social group. Ask early on whether they do things like go out for drinks, might be a simple way to break into the local nightlife.

Unless the job involves turning up at the docks around midnight, wearing a dark hoodie in a pickup truck and wait for someone to flash their lights and you're asking for advice about that. And it sounds fishy dude.

No, I would be a travel agent working for a major cruise line. My issue is I try not to hang out with co workers because one little thing and it goes around the whole office.

I was just offered a great job with a potential of making between $70,000 and $90,000 a year. The catch is moving to Miami from Carson City, Nevada (by Reno). I need to decide this week.

I have never traveled further then Nashville and of course my social anxiety wont help. I will be working for one of the MAJOR cruise lines.

Does any of my Mingle family live down there? The campus is in Miramar, apparently that is 30 minutes from Miami.

Definitely could use some advice and help.

Ya avengers infinity war part two comes out next May, the trailer for it is out already looks good, Adam Warlock is in it

The only trailers out for the next movie are fan made ones. There is no official trailer, mostly because it has just entered editing and second they will wait until a major event or movie release to attach the next trailer to.

It was so cool in 3D , not a boring moment , but the long credits till the final hanging scene almost got to my impatient side  glad i stayed put till that clue for the next movie:thumbsup:

Do you know what that clue is? Nick Fury was calling Captain Marvel who will have a HUGE impact on the next movie. She is one of the strongest characters in the next film. In addition Ant-Man, Wasp, Hawkeye are all in it.

Wed 05/23/18 10:51 PM

oh,you can be GUARANTEED that there will be another part!!! LOL
[after all...this IS Marvel that we are talking about!!!]

they gave a couple of very important clues in the movie as to how it will end up,but i dont want to be a spoiler.

Ummmmmm, it is a two part film. The second half has been filmed and is in the editing process.

Everyone knows how its going to end. It's followed the comics almost to the letter. Basically, the people who died when Thanos put the Infinity Gauntlet on his hand and closed his fist are actually trapped in the Soul Stone and they are all going to be in the next movie. In fact several who supposedly died are either in production of the sequels to their stand alone films or are contracted for at least one more film.

No one really dies until the next movie.

Do all politicians tell the truth really!

I don't condone outside affairs but people in glass houses shouldn't throw stones!

Let them do a check on all in office now and see how many had an affair in their past or even going on now.

Before any man is POTUS it is his personal business, Relationships Before.

60 minutes will be Stormy's. Side! Big risk she said !

Not that interesting talk . IMO Host is helping her explain things.

Frankly, I don't think this really matters. We don't know what kind of agreements President Trump and his wife have inside the bedroom. There are many married couples that are open sexually to various scenarios.

The only time it become a problem is if President Trump lies under oath about it, and that is the only problem I had with the whole Clinton mess was committing perjury, a crime.

It's not surprising that a President has affair's. Its been happening for hundreds of years and it got more open when Roosevelt and Kennedy were blatant about it including Kennedy's skinny dipping and 3 somes with Fiddle and Faddle in the White House pool.

I agree thats disgusting ... but what about the peeing on someone who got stung from a jelly fish ... I have heard 2 story ... works and don't work ... questionable...

some women might know this ...
you can tell if a male is a diabetic by the taste of their semen...

true fact ...

The jellyfish remedy actually does work mystical. I haven't tried it, but was out with a friend who got stung pretty bad on the neck... we didn't have vinegar, so he peed in his hand and rubbed it on. It's something they all do in Cuba he said. It worked! No swelling and the redness went away.

As far as the other supposed fact... I'll wait to hear what Mikey finds out... laugh

No wonder diseases run rampant in Cuba!

In my experience all cruises include food but alcohol usually is the biggest expense, so it's good you got that included in your plan.

Most ships also have casinos so if you like to try your luck then plan for some extra money for that.

Once on land, it depends on what you might want to buy as souvenirs in remembrance of your experience.

Whether on the ship or on land you can use your credit card but depending on your destinations, sometimes using US cash can bargain down prices in certain situations

Have Fun..cruises are great!drinker

They said not to use cash at on the ship. They want you to use the ship banking system so you don't lose money.
