Topic: Dating but still no ring?
Do you need it? Eight years without one, do you really feel it is necessary at this point? The ring is the least important part of a relationship, it's how you care about each other that is important.

I've got a buddy that's been with the same woman for 24 years with no rings involved, but they love each other and are a great fit as a couple, so really, unless you want the tax benefits, the license and ring are of no consequence.

I've driven 1500 miles just to eat lunch with someone, and once drove over 300 miles just to get stood up, so, I'd say anywhere I can get to via the road is fair game.
