I think the 'newer' monied realize that all
the cash in the world will not help if
something else disrupts the planet.

In theory taxes exist to redistribute wealth.

So that 'new' rich and 'old' rich pay the
same death duties.

Of course, they like to re-elect their own kind,
which can change the tax laws to benefit the wealthy.

Now, does it help to have the $$ just change hands?
(Inheritance.)

Probably..they are younger and seemingly climate/
environmental conscious, some seem more generous.

I believe they are an entity, a force to be
reckoned with and their political $$ contributions are
capable of shaping elections.

Is it normal for posts to be delayed in showing in the forums? I've noticed that sometimes posts don't show up until there is another post reply made.

Also, is there a way to edit or delete our own posts?

Thank you.
The only time I have seen this happen is
when a post is removed (by a moderator) their
name often repeats as the last poster until
a new poster adds something.

For an hour after you post to a forum, you should
see the option to 'Edit' just beneath it, after
an hour your time to edit is up and the option
disappears.

This is the Internet.
There is no way to verify most of what a member
posts about themself.

Their picture..sometimes.

You can report, through their profile, anything
that seems 'off'..it will be looked at
and adjudicated.

If an account is deactivated, it accepts no email.

It will probably take me that long to figure
out what 'NIFOYC' means.

I deactivated my old profile, but the comments and posts I made on forums are still there
That keeps the integrity of the forums intact.

Haha, yes, use it to hit & hurt, but it can also be used to reel someone in, if they're smexy, hihi.

I could see that.

^^^ It does seem to be quite the contraption, doesn't it, hihi.
I have not tested it yet, but won't smack someone around the head with it as I live alone. So if that is to happen it'd be my own head, haha.
You could leave it behind the front door, like a bat ;-=)

TeddyBear is really cute! Many happy years and moments with Teddy Bear
I passed that on to the little man, thanks ;-)
So, what is (and where is) a self back scratcher?

Oowww... you rescued a dog! Bless you!

62"... you made me get the calculator out, on the PC, hihi. Close to 1,60m, that is huge!! I bet he's very happy and reluctant to leave his mancave now, haha.

And thank you for explaining the popcorn. For a second I thought you'd given them stuff to feed the moose, haha.

BTW what did you name the dog? Or did it come with a name already?

We call him TeddyBear, hoping he won't eat us ;-)

We lost 6 pets the past few years, all from old age,
this one somehow found us.

The MooseMunch is one of those delicious over-
priced items best sent on occasions ;-)

Hmmm, I got a new German Shepherd/SharPei
mix dog from the shelter who had been raised
in a crate, covered with a blanket no less
..this dog is so happy now ;-)

Krupa got a 65" flat screen/smartie TV for his
mancave.

For his folks we get them MooseMunch from
Harry&David, we get two so they do not fight
over them ;-) It is candied popcorn.
