Well unfortunately I agree with you all. To me philosophy is using logical debate to determine a solution. In the forum I would like to see real debate, maybe discussing classical arguments, or great philosophers.
I have a hard time connecting psychic vampires, alien sloths, and draconians with either science or philosophy. |

It should be Science, Philosophy, and New Age Spiritualism.
Seriously half of the threads on here have nothing to do with science or philosophy. Just an observation. Why is this the case? |

Redy,
I have not looked into that but will. Integration of science and religion is messy but necessary if you believe in both. |

Air is not a molecule. It is a mixture. It primarily contains Nitrogen, oxygen, argon, carbon dioxide, and water vapor. Most of the molecules in air are involved in cycles where they are being locked into solids and liquids and then released. Their is no mathematical determination of shared air it is impossible. A nitrogen atom in the air 100 years ago now may be a part of my arse. |

For me your shower pic makes you look vain. Your profile is typical and cliche (I am a nice guy who loves life....). Not that it is bad just that it does not really express anything about you as an individual.
My guess is people that would be interested in you are looking for a good looking, tall guy, that is fit. Which is prolly a lot of people. |

I am a pretty open minded individual. I may be opinionated but I am usually pretty open to the possibility of most things. I am even open to the possibility of reptile people, but I believe that possibility is really pretty insignificant. I still think it is silly to believe in reptile people as fact.

Do ideas, symbolism, or spirituality exist if you remove the physical human? My belief is no. That without the neural network of interactions between charged particles to interpret an idea, it does not exist. NovaRoma My belief is yes. As your mind can create images and dreams so can the universal mind create space-time and matter. MEST (Matter, energy, space and time) are all mind created. The mind is a unified field within which "matter" is manifested. You, and this entire physical universe exists within the mind. The idea that your 'mind' arises from 'your brain' is a backwards an incorrect assumption. (It's the other way around.) We are the creators and we are observing our creation and wondering who created it and us. As long as we do that, we will never find out the true nature of the universe. Its very funny. ![]() Well, you are more than welcome to believe what every you desire. I do not challenge you or doubt the legitimacy of what you say. My only issue is that there is no tangible evidence to support your beliefs. I believe in god and again no evidence. But, when in context to my original post. Ideas definitely have a biological physical basis for them. |

He may be real. He may not be real. There is a problem determining this one. The complete lack of any physical evidence.
I think the idea of draconians as real is pretty stupid. They are a fictional alien race from the television show Doctor Who in the 70's. Since then have been incorporated into role playing games. That does not make them real. |

I did not come up with it. I looked it up and that is what it is called. A natural phenomenon.
It is good that you are curious but there is no answer. |
