You're going to have a wide variety of opinion, because what is right for some is going to be very wrong for someone else. If someone dives right into sex talk in the opening convo with me, they're going to get shut down hard. To me it's a sign that they have no interest in me as a person & are not looking for anything other than a bounce. However, others probably feel differently, and would be completely ok with it.

Not broken, because I'm slow to give it :) Have only been truly heartbroken three times....the rest were just bruises that healed as soon as my ego did ;)

Shouldn't even be a question - if he or she is dishonest, they're exiting stage left, final curtain call. If they'll lie about stupid things, they'll lie about important things too, so why tolerate it?

Hmmm, have watched it twice, and it appears that there is a gap in the fence. I just can't tell if it's large enough for a car to get through.

Beer and tree stands dont mix No they don't. I nearly got shot by a lunatic who had bought into that stereotype. Was up in my stand, he was on our property and decided to shoot uphill without checking first. He hit the tree about 7" above my head. I have NEVER come down from a stand so fast in my life! |

I hunt. When I was young, my family lived off what my grandfather and father could catch/shoot, and I grew up on wild game. I have had people accuse me of cruelty, and do so while happily munching a hamburger or steak I've given up arguing with them, because I'll never convince them that I'm not the stereotypical beer drinking psycho in a tree stand shooting at anything that moves.
The state I come from (WI) had such an over population of deer that for a few years they handed out "bonus" deer tags every day of hunting season, and even extended the season for 10 days. The state didn't have much in the way of natural predators to thin the herd "naturally", so the DNR depended on the hunters. Before Chronic Wasting Disease, we would fill our extra tags and donate the deer to our local food pantry. They had a processing plant that processed the meat for them and tanned the hides for blankets, moccasins and other needs for the homeless. Now they won't take the meat (for good reason), so people are filling less tags, and the herd is growing out of control again. |

It's a social stigma that will never go away. It would if people quit worrying about what others think, and live for themselves & what is healthy for THEM :) |

Well... sure beats all the rotten coffee we drink first. I guess I wonder what the results of one of these ads would be.. It's this decade's version of mail order brides/grooms |

Besides all women have cooties and I hear it's catching. The doc told me they'd be cleared up in a week! |

Ok stop this beatin around the bush here. Everyone knows it's socially unacceptable (as well as unhealthy) for women to be overweight and the majority who think that are...men. Actually, it's considered socially unacceptable because the fashion magazines tell us it is, and most are run by women. Teen magazines have articles on dieting, on how to get guys by looking great, etc. - and again, most are run by women. It's a self destructive cycle that we as females tend to buy into, and never quite shake free from. Blaming men for that would be supremely unfair. Men respond to confidence and sense of self far more than they do to what size jeans you wear, or at least that's been my experience. |
