When you deactivate your profile, it will eventually be removed by Google. It just takes some time for that process to occur, because Google has to visit our site and see that your profile has been deactivated, and that process can take a while.
I have no idea what the adult friend finders page is - it obviously is not something we did or encouraged. Most likely, it's just someone who has the same username as you on that site but is unrelated to you. It seems like the other heathergobucks is in Bird City, Kansas, so it's clearly not you. The forums are public and can be viewed by anyone. This is the case with the vast majority of forums on the internet. On almost every forum, you can read the forum without being a member, but you can't post until you join. This is the case with mingle2 as well. You shouldn't post anything you aren't comfortable with anyone being able to read. I would advise that for any forum on the internet that you participate on. Hope that helps clarify things. |

From who - can you be specific? Please send to me over mail - don't post that info on the forums.

Also, any chance that the messages were more than 30 days old? Messages older than 30 days old get deleted automatically every night.
If not, can you send either Charles or I a message with some more information about the emails you remember, i.e. approximately when you received them, and who they were from? We'll try to figure out what happened to them. Thanks, Mike |

Is Mingle2 the only site that is running slowly for you?
Also, can you describe in more detail where the site stops loading? For example, if you click on the Community link at the top, does any part of the page start to load? If so, where does it stop on the page before it hangs? |

Sorry again. |

By popular demand, we've added the ability to edit the subject of a topic, even after the topic has already been started. The following restrictions apply:
- You can only edit the subject of topics you've started - Subjects and posts are only editable within 60 minutes of creating the topic - You can only edit the subject of the original topic, i.e. if a topic has been continued into a "Part 2", etc., the subject of any of the parts can no longer be edited. Let us know if you experience any problems with the new feature. Thanks, and hope you are all enjoying the site! |

Sorry folks - is the site still slow for you? We're definitely getting reports from a lot of people about slowness, but it appears to be intermittent and we're still trying to track down the source. Please let us know if you are still experiencing slow page loads.
Sorry for the inconvenience. Hopefully we'll get this all sorted out shortly. |

Sent Mail

Can you tell me where you see "sent" popping up? When you click on "Mail" at the top of the screen, once the page finishes loading there should be a "Sent" link in the row below the main navigation, 2nd from the left. Click on that and you should be able to see your sent messages.
Is that the link that is disappearing on you? If so, can you tell me what browser and operating system you are using? |

That's a bug - we'll get that fixed ASAP. Thanks for letting us know.
And yes - we're asking people to try to post serious responses only to posts in the help sections. The reason is that we have new people joining the site with questions, to which people are posting smart-alecky responses. It's just not a very nice way to welcome people who are trying to understand how mingle2 works. We don't want to put a damper on the fun of the forums, but we also want to make sure that users who need help get the answers they need. |

You don't need to click on reply. When you are reading a message, at the bottom of the message, you'll see an area where you can write your reply right on the same page. You can immediately start typing in that box - there's nothing you need to hit before doing so. Just type your reply in the box and hit "Send Message" - that will send your reply.

OK, we just launched some changes that hopefully should make every page load a bit faster. Let us know if it seems any better or not.
Thanks again for your patience everyone, and sorry for the inconvenience. |

Thanks for letting us know folks. We are working on a fix and should have something in place shortly. Hopefully you should see some improvements by the end of day tomorrow.
Sorry for the inconvenience, but we will definitely do our best to get this issue resolved ASAP. |

It should be fixed now - there was a glitch with one server that we've repaired. If it's still slow, please let us know, but on our end, everything is much zippier now.
And for the record, the problem server would have slowed down JSH also... |

What is CA? We don't use spyware at all on the site. The only thing you may get are some cookies from ads, but they can't harm your computer.
Can you tell me what CA so I can check it out? I would like to see why it is giving so many false positives. |
