i'm absolutely horrified and saddened by this.

i can't believe that anyone would think they have a right to restrict others from marrying and being happy.

it's disgusting.

Have you ever seen pictures from a "gay pride" march??--Now that's, disgusting!!smokin

I started out carrying aknife.. VERY useful for so many uses outside of defense..

Very true.

Guns are hard to convince an officer ur not up to no good..

Thats too bad. I once saw a large group of cops go apeshit on this young black guy, who was being totally calm, non-aggressive. He was already fully restrained (couldn't see the cuffs, but his arms were behind his back and he was just standing there, immobile, sandwiched by officers). Another officer had pulled out his gun and shoved it against the black guys face, pushing it into his cheek and forcing his head back. About thirty or fourty of us bystanders gathered round, giving 30' or so of space, keeping the cell-phone video cameras rolling and waiting to see what they would do.

The officers were clearly uncomfortable with the gathering crowd, and one of them came over and started screaming at us, in a freaked out defensive tone "He had a gun in his car! He had a gun in his car!"

I'm thinking - so freaking what? We have a legal right to bear arms. Good for him!

All I'm saying is - it looks to me like some cops really freak out about private citizens carrying guns.

------------
As far as carrying a weapon while hitching, I see good arguments for both sides.

Saw something similar to this in seattle. Cops are getting kinda out of hand. I agree---Gun in car --Big deal! They never got shot at!

 Texas has no sovereignty:smile:Its a state.:smile:Not a country:smile:

According to the Anti-Federalist papers, all the states are sovereign. (this is an enlightenment-era philosophical concept, of course-in which the citizens allow their States limited powers in exchange for specifics mentioned in the various States' constitutions. I personally don't believe any government has rights superior to the individual's.)
 The Anti-Federalist papers are wrong.

 Federal Law trumps State Law

False. You only have that impression because Federal politicians have been lying to you about it. Read the 10th ammendment.

"Amendment X

The powers not delegated to the United States by the Constitution, nor prohibited by it to the states, are reserved to the states respectively, or to the people."

You are wrong, look it up.

I just quoted the document directly! If you don't understand this basic text, you ought not vote. When it was written, it was designed to be so simple that average people could understand it.

"Amendment X

The powers not delegated to the United States by the Constitution, nor prohibited by it to the states, are reserved to the states respectively, or to the people."

You need to look this up and read further.

There has been cases to resolve this and make it well understood that the states have no soverignty if they are part of this country.
There are certain laws allowed to the states but that does not equate sovereignty.

I think you may want to consider your voting intelligence before talking of others.

Harsh--and lawless!!sad sad

Marijuana is not legal.

Steroids, which under the correct supervision can be a healthy thing, is not legal.

But yet, fast foods that are poisoning peoples bodies are making billions of dollars per year.

Medium soda drinks at fast food places have turned into a gas can sized plastic cup. Burgers have become as thick as a tire.

Yep!
