I have seen a large figure..always shrouded in like a black mist..makes him seem like smoke. He is usually walking along side one of two pretty busy roads...more so,in the rain. As soon as I look back in my mirror,{ as he appears suddenly enuf to make me move over}, he is gone. This figure has been around these 2 roads for many years...Any Ideas? No one has died in those specific areas...I have checked.

I would think If that if it was intened for me that I would feel it. Been around other spirits befor...but none like this...I guess i could be wrong. But if its death, he's takin his time...been seenin him for like 17 yrs now.

Death has been known to take his time. He's immortal, so to stalk someone for seventeen years is just one way for him to chase the boredom away.

I have an idea. Death listens to the road conditions on the radio and the traffic accidents, of course several hours before he has to be there. And he goes there to your stretch of highway, and ... nothing.

This is not impossible. You know, it's a prediction from Death's point of view--but we know how bad the meteorology reports are, how very much off they can be. Same difference with traffic reports.

This would explain why He is there more often and more visibly in rainy, foggy weather.

And if you see him mainly as smoke... maybe he just takes his smoke breaks there. He can't do it on the job, and your stretch of highway is as good as any other stretch.

He actually DOES look like an ad should look like for cigarettes. A tall, slim, sexy boy, tight bun, handsome as all-get out, coolly smoking.

Well then no wonder he cant follow me home! Weather here changes 3 times in 5 miles..he is stuck in the rain w/ a wet cig!

If you do, don't say it here; you might have to serve him vodka martinis every day, and I am sure your mother won't approve when you bring home this sort of friend.

He plays a good game of Kanasta and all other games. Don't challenge him to those!!!! That goes, no matter how bored you are when he's drying himself in your house, smoking like a chimney and cursing his wife for sending him out to work in this weather.
