as for this thread, i don't see where you get that religion in America is on the rise...maybe among republican voters....but according to a recent census , attendance is dropping in christian churches, while atheism is rising as well as those that convert to other religions which islam is slowly topping the list.

If Christianty is declining because people don't want to do what the bible says or wants to re-write it to fit their own agenda then so be it.A Christian who believes in water downed Christianity is just one step above a spiritual Atheist.I don't want to go to a church full of half believers.I would rather have 10 good Christians on my side who would die in the name of Christ than a 1000 who wouldn't.I know there is a lot of Christians out there who have bought into this political correctness insanity and are way off track.But there is many who have not and we will forge a even stronger church than the one before us and we will be blessed,as we will follow Gods word not mans.


There was army of soldiers that were traveling through a small village many years ago who were Christians.They waited for the service to start at the local church and came in with their machine guns in hand.They told the congregation "We know you are Christians.If you stay you will be shot.However if you deny Christ and leave your life will be sparred".About half of them left.Half stayed including the pastor and one of the soldiers sat down and put his gun down and said "We just wanted to get rid of the hypocrites before you stated.You may continue".

There is a big difference between an openminded person, and a cynical person. Logic is great, but how far can we get with logic if were not willing to look at every thing?

why? i challenge everyone who wants to respond to this or anyother post, to ask themselves "why am i doing this?"
is it to prove him wrong? is it to exchange ideas and perspective? do i want to shoot someone down just to make myself appear superior?
or do i want to save this guy some trouble or give him some advice?
Think of how much further we would get if every one asked why.
